This is the question placed before all who hear of Jesus; and it is we, not He, who are judged by our answer. In fact, we answer this question every day by what we believe and do. If we really believe Jesus is who He says He is, it will affect the way that we live.

In today’s episode, Paige and Shellie discuss Luke chapter 7. In this chapter Jesus heals a centurion’s servant, raises a widow’s son from the dead, forgives a sinful woman, and John the Baptist sends his disciples to Jesus with a question.
The women discuss the humility of the centurion; how he didn’t see himself worthy enough for Jesus to come into his home, however, the Jews considered him worthy and told Jesus the great things he did for them.
“Two features of character blend in him which do not often meet in such graceful harmony. He won the high opinion of others and yet he held a low estimation of himself.” (Spurgeon)
They also mention the compassion Jesus had on the widow whose son died. Psalm 103:13, “As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.”
Paige and Shellie discuss the popular idea that Jesus was friends with sinners and explain the reason He befriended them and what that actually looked like.
