Hey all, it’s been a minute! Your language tells your story and drives your actions. The cool thing is, you have the pen!
Hey people in healthcare and wellness stop bashing each other because of a skill set. All clinicians are doing their best to learn and get patients/clients better. One type of training is not better than the other. It’s about learning and supporting people through their journey. Each person is one of one so let’s treat them that way. Clinicians/ Coaches be humble if you have done everything and it’s not working, it’s ok to refer out! Let’s all come together to help others!
Blaming others is not going to make anything better. Instead get clear on what can change and get after it! We are not supposed to be victims, life has a better plan.
Guys awareness is huge. To make change you first need to be aware of what needs changing! Let’s chat!
Change is tough and it’s a big struggle sometimes, but ultimately change comes by the individual taking action. I know it’s hard. I know fear, self sabotage, and just dwelling rear their ugly heads a lot. You have to stand up. I vow to make some changes and I will be with you every step of the way when you need to make some. Let’s get it!
Guys I am here because I have anxiety, poor self talk, imposter syndrome etc.. This is why I do this, because I am in it too! We are the thoughts and actions we repeatedly do and we have the power to be anything we want regardless of the hand we were dealt. You have got this!
Hey all I wanted to remind you that you are one of one! Summer is coming and people want to lose weight, or reinvent themself, etc. There is so much out there on the internet on how to get rich in a week or lose 30 pounds in 30 days. Look, this can work for some , but not for everyone. Do what works for you! Then do it over and over again!
Hey all! I need to take my own medicine too, but stop looking for the quick successes. All things that are important to you take time! There are no hacks! Let’s chat!
Hey all! I know I have said it before, but working out should not be something you have to do, but should be what you want to do! Let’s discuss how we can get you moving!
Never ever stop being you! With that said, take the good and the bad and learn from it. You are a vibe and not everyone is going to like that! It’s ok, move on and move forward!
Guys and Gals, it’s not that hard to get what you want in health, life, relationships , etc. Let’s chat!
Hey this world is what you make it to be. We all come from different beginnings and some may have it easier than others, but the only person that has a say in you is you! I had a rough emotional week and I had to sit with some stuff. When things go differently I can fall into a “what did I do” funk when in all actuality I may have done nothing! Learn and move on. Let’s discuss!
Why do we need a hack? I think the best things for health are the ones that take time. Let’s chat!
Yuck right? Why do I need to track? Look it may not be for everyone and honestly, it’s not something you have to do all the time or forever, but it does help! There are apps, devices, or pen and paper that can help you. Let’s chat about this!
Fear is a huge part of all of us, but for some it makes us better and others it stalls us. Let’s have a discussion on how we can use this for good!
This is a tough question, but I think it’s one we have to ask in so many parts of our lives? In relationships, in careers, and in our health. Let’s discuss!
Guys , I am not a mental health specialist , but I can tell you that the way you talk to yourself or the way you see yourself can have a positive or negative effect on all aspects of your life! You have to be your hype man! Let’s discuss!
In life you need to get uncomfortable as this allows you to challenge yourself and honestly find out a ton about you and what makes you tick! This way you can go after things and continue to grow, as well as set boundaries!
Hey so when do you make a pivot in your life be it a relationship, in your fitness, or your career? We will discuss some talking points that you should consider before you make a change! Let’s go!
What does confidence mean to you! For me it’s about showing up and knowing you will give your all regardless of the outcomes! This is a hard one for me, so talking about it may open up a dialogue where we all can become more confident! Let’s go!
Pick a mantra for yourself this year and stick to it. Don’t go all in on several things. Pick something and commit and see where it takes you and then build from there!
Get out of your own way. Get after what you want and be kind to yourself. You don’t need to be anxious, just go. You have more people backing you up than you know!
I heard this quote listening to another podcast and it got me thinking! It’s that simple! If you want something to change, you have to change it!
Your past is behind you. Your past taught you a lot and you should be grateful for that, but it’s time to just let it be. You can remember things that you did right or wrong. That’s all good, but don’t let that dictate what you do now. I am going to share a lot of vulnerable stuff in this episode so I can show you that it’s possible to move away from it! Let’s Go!
Lol, this is a great one. It’s about not dumping all of your energy out during the day and having nothing left for your family and friends. I am not saying don’t put everything you have into your passions, but I am saying watch your battery. This one falls back on a few previous episodes, but felt it very relevant as most of us are getting into the holiday season! Check it out!
In whatever you are doing, take your time! It’s ok to be hard on yourself as long as it challenges you to keep working! On the other hand, if it creates angst you need to regroup!
What is recovery? When should we do it? Is it for everyone? Let’s dive into this one a little bit!
What is your legacy. What drives you? Like what truly drives you? Not what others are doing, but what can you be doing. A legacy is more than the money you make or the clothes you wear. That stuff doesn’t follow you when it’s your time to go!
We all wonder what is next? But, let’s flip that. Why not just be here? I am not saying you cannot strive to be your best self, but stop putting so much pressure on yourself!
Gratitude is very important in all aspects of life, but most importantly this practice has shown to have awesome effects on your body and mind. Let’s discuss!
I am not saying to not chase your dreams or to not get those bags! What I am saying is don’t sacrifice yourself for it! There is a sweet spot for us all!
Guys there is not a perfect time to start. You just have to start and stack some little wins to make good things happen! There will be bumps in the road, people with misinterpret what you say, there will be a need for recovery! Just take simple action each day, and if you fall just get back up!
We all have goals, but what happens after the goal is reached? Maybe instead we focus on the process and the goals just take care of themselves? Let’s chat!
To be honest, the people you are around make you who you are! Choose your circle wisely!
We are not here for long, so live! We all have goals in mind and we do have to work to experience some of the things we want, but can we live more? Let’s chat!
Man… we all have in us a gift that can create our purpose in life, but some people (this guy included) can’t understand that. Well I have been working on this exact thing for years and am slowly peeling away layers. Let’s chat!!!
Hey all, this one is about not burning the candle at both ends. To be the most effective and your best self, you need to recharge!
The certs, the degrees, the letters….. They don’t matter. Yes, it’s your education and your search to continue to grow and share, I agree with that, but when you are working with people it is about meeting them where they are and going from there!
While on my vacations, I noticed something that I guess I have always done. I struggle with comparing myself to others or needing this or that to be of value. Well guess what, when you value yourself and live your life that is what truly matters! I don’t think it’s bad to want something that someone has or want to do something that someone does, but do it because it lights you up!
When you make a mistake or when you are trying to make a change, own it. You learn way more from you mistakes than you do from your wins!
I delve into what strength and power mean in fitness, but take it one step further of how these show up in your mind and how they help you become your best self!
What does it mean to endure and how can we work on this with fitness, mental health, and relationships?
Guys fear should be an emotion that we use to get through things. You can be scared, but taking action and overcoming is how we progress!
Look life is hard and we all want to have a good life. It looks different for everyone, but when you are consistent you will be successful in what you want to accomplish!
Hey guys complaining is ok if you take action, but if no action is taken more bad than good will come from it!
Having people around you that can keep you accountable leads to better outcomes in all facets of life. It may look different for everyone, but find that team!
Guys, little things happen all the time and can get you riled up. Don’t let it! Yes, easier said, but if you focus on the big picture the small stuff can float away! Being there for family, friends, and you is what it’s about!
Being present in the moment is probably the most important thing you can do and the hardest. Today we talk about how you can work on this!
Applying what you are passionate about is the most important. We all have the ability to be what we want, but I think we can sometimes get lost in thinking we need “more “ to be relevant. I am here to say you don’t!
Guys listen even when you give it your all in your job, health, and relationships it may not work out like you thought! That’s ok. Imposter syndrome happens to the best of us, but we just have to keep plugging away.
Guys, it’s not hard! The best exercise is the one you will do! Find out what you like to do and just move. Be consistent and you will see changes happen!
Coaches, trainers, and therapists should have your best interest at the top of their list. Here are some pearls I think that can help you with finding someone to assist with your health.
There seems to be an accountability pandemic! I talk about how accountability is important to our overall health and how owning our actions helps teach our younger generations to do the same.
Let’s stop labeling and show our weaknesses as badges of courage and strength. Maybe making an effort to be vulnerable will make this less taboo! I feel we can live so much more free and together if we accept and help each other.
Guys, we can be so much better than what we are showing. We are all not the same and that’s fine, but we have to stop the finger pointing. There are so many ways to get the job done, and even though you don’t agree you can show respect. This will help with mindset and health. We can be better!
I talk about how you need to be open to talking about yourself, have better eating habits, and moving the way YOU want. There is no one size fits all, but if you do these things life will feel better!
This episode is about why I started the podcast. I discuss how my need for external validation led to poor relationships and alcohol abuse. Through some tough love and accountability, I have begun to change and become the person I truly want to be and I can help you too!
This episode tries to explain nutrition and how it doesn’t have to be a crazy restriction of calories. Simply eating better and moving more can set you up for more sustainable change.
It is not a sign of weakness to advocate for your mental or physical health. You have one life, take care of it!
Whatever you set with regards to resolutions or intentions be kind to yourself. We all have the power to do good in all aspects of our lives. Focus on that and keep moving forward!
We all have something inside of us that makes us tick. Never lose it and keep moving forward!
Fitness and eating are not hard, it just takes a change in behavior. You can enjoy all the foods and not be guilty. You can find time to be fit. This episode will cover this and hopefully help you find clarity on being consistent and giving yourself some grace when it comes to making changes!
You are not going to please everyone! That’s ok. That also doesn’t mean you don’t care about people. Anxiety can create a lot of stress, especially around the holidays due to thinking you have to be everywhere. Guess what? You don’t have to be everywhere. Be courageous and make choices for you that will allow you to be your best.
In this episode, I discuss why I decided to start a podcast and how we should really work on validating ourselves.
