The Sit Down & Talk Show: Recent Episodes

Shanise Talia Williams

The Sit Down & Talk Show is a podcast where I tackle challenging conversations about tough topics. I believe that therapy, counseling, and social work are important for everyone - beyond just those who are struggling with their mental health. I also believe that conversation is powerful. It can be a way to explore our thoughts and feelings, learn from others, and connect with one another. That's why I created this podcast. Every week, I invite guests to join me for a conversation about a range of topics from relationships to growing pains. Our goal is to create a safe space for open dialogue. How do we view blackness and the creation of our identity? What is the root cause of us being different from other races? Are we really just a creation of God, or perhaps we are from another planet? How exactly were we created? What is there before Blackness? Why are we here? Ultimately, once you search for the truth then all pieces will begin to fit together like a puzzle.

It is truly amazing to find that every single thing in life has a reason and logic behind it. It's never just for no reason. Keep seeking knowledge and looking for the facts. It is our duty as human beings to uncover the hidden truths that lay beneath the surface of our skin.

If we can't replicate skin, are we surprised that we can't replicate minds?

Manipulating DNA takes billions of dollars, but manipulating the mind is free!

This is a presentation of why Black people research the truth about their history, instead of believing what has been provided to them by the experts. It is more than sufficient evidence that some Black people have made decisions to believe lies in order to maintain a better stature in society.

In this episode, I talk about the creation of Blackness, and how we are taught to live in a narrative that is beneficial to someone else. I talk about the history of Christianity and why it's important for us to seek knowledge because knowledge of self means freedom... I also discuss Kyrie Irving's condemnation and crucifixion.

Have you noticed the rise of hate language in our world? It is all around us. We are anti-drugs or anti-terrorism, and however valid these positions maybe there is another ugly side to it: When we take a position of being anti-something it is an expression of hate. Seems harmless, doesn't it? In fact, you might even think of yourself as a loving person. Yet, that position of being anti will cause us to hate others, and eventually, they will start hating us as well. Hating causes divisiveness which is what divides humanity today. We need to shift back to being pro-love instead of being anti-hate.

We're all part of the same human race. We can't progress as a species if we continue to divide ourselves into groups based on rage and hate.

To be "anti" anything makes you a hater.

On this episode of The Sit Down & Talk Show, host Shanise Talia Williams address hate speech, hate language, more on Kanye, and how to shift our thinking towards love.

On this episode of The Sit Down & Talk show, our host Shanise Talia Williams discusses how occult magic rituals are linked to anal sex, sex magic, Adam & Eve, and the forbidden fruit.

Have you ever heard of sex magic?

Have you ever wondered why sex and magic often go hand in hand in occult rituals?

It's a practice where individuals or groups use sexual acts and energy to manifest their desires and enhance their magical workings. The ritual involves harnessing the power and energy from sexual activity, often with the intention to gain, retain, or maintain power.

It all goes back to the Garden of Eden and the story of Adam & Eve.

Have you ever stopped and wondered who funds the Black Lives Matter movement?

On this episode of The Sit Down & Talk show, our host Shanise Talia Williams dives into the money roots behind the Black Lives Matter slogan and movement. It may surprise you to learn that money plays a big role in the conversation about Black lives. In fact, some have even called it a money-making scam. But where is this money coming from? Well, recently it's been in the news that Kanye West donated $2 million to the cause. But he's not alone in supporting the BLM movement financially.

Historically, foundations and major corporations such as Ben & Jerry's and Amazon have also contributed funds. While money undeniably plays an important role in activism, it's important to remember that at the heart of BLM lies a message: black lives matter because you matter. To truly support the movement is to value black lives above all else - not just in words, but also in actions. So yes, money does play a role in BLM, but what really matters is keeping its core message alive - that black lives are just as valuable as any other life.

Over the past few years, there has been a growing movement of Black American women rallying together to combat patriarchy and the erasure of their voices and experiences. This phenomenon has been dubbed the Divine Feminine Rising, and it is gaining momentum as more and more women are standing up to fight for social justice, equality, and representation. Whether through books, blogs, documentaries, or community organizing efforts, these amazing women are using their platforms to amplify stories that have long been silenced by patriarchy and racism. And in doing so, they are helping to pave the way for a bright future in which all people can thrive.

Shanise begins by talking about how patriarchy is one of the root causes of the erasure that so many Black American women are currently facing. She explains that patriarchy has been deeply embedded in our society for generations, with systems of oppression often working in tandem with one another to stifle the voices and experiences of Black women.

Next, Shanise talks about how many marginalized communities, including those led by Black women, are experiencing a revival of their long-suppressed identities, traditions, and stories. She notes that as we begin to rediscover these lost pieces of ourselves, it is crucial that we resist efforts to silence or erase our narratives once again.

Throughout the discussion, Shanise shares powerful sentiments and personal stories about reclaiming their power as a Black American woman and coming together in solidarity to fight patriarchal erasure. Whether through organizing events and protests or simply banding together to support each other on their individual journeys, they emphasize that truly understanding and healing from patriarchy must begin with reclaiming our voices and celebrating our divine feminine rising.

So if you want to be inspired by the resilience and power of Black American women, tune in to The Sit Down & Talk show today. You won't want to miss this discussion!

On this episode of The Sit Down & Talk show, our host Shanise Talia Williams addresses the Ye "White Lives Matter" debacle and how it correlates to the effects, conditioning, and mainstream promoting of eurocentricity and why it needs to stop.

She begins by discussing how Kanye West is currently perpetuating the promotion of eurocentricity. Eurocentricity is the idea that European culture is superior to all others, and that it's something that Europeans have exported all over the world. She explains how this idea is damaging because it leads to people thinking that Europeans are better than everyone else just because of their nationality. Shanise talks about how this idea is promoted through the media, and how it leads to colonizer culture being the primary world culture, while others remain underrepresented and displayed using inaccurate stereotypes. In conclusion, she urges people to be more mindful of the way they think about other cultures and to challenge the eurocentric ideas that they may have been taught by making a call to action for all Americans.

We as Americans need to begin to take pride in our land of nationality instead of emulating other cultures because America has a culture too that should be represented. To have successful futures, our kids need to see people that look like them doing things that they could see themselves doing. When young people watch tv, and all they see are European standards of beauty, brands, etc., it tells them that their interests, hobbies, or dreams are not valid. It is time for a change so that we, Americans, can defeat our truest enemy once and for all. If you agree, stand up and make your voice heard!

On this episode of The Sit Down & Talk show, our host Shanise Talia Williams, deep dives into the creation of the monster, Jeffery Dahmer. His gruesome and gory murders terrorized innocent people and their families for years. His crimes shook not only the tight-knit community of Milwaukee he resided in but the nation as a whole. But what was it that made him become a killer? Some say it was his ties to secret societies. Others say it was because of the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, Lionel Dahmer.

As Williams delves deeper into Dahmer's life, she begins to uncover more about his family life, especially his father, Lionel Dahmer. In this episode, we take a more in-depth look at the life of Lionel Dahmer and explore what could have turned a young man into a monster.

Was it nature or nurture that created the killer Jeffery Dahmer? It becomes clear that Dahmer was not born a killer, but instead became one through a series of environmental and personal factors.
