Two years sober. I couldn’t go two days sober for 10+ years. Sobriety saved my life. I am crying typing this. I can remember all those lonely drunk walks home where I didn’t want to be here anymore. Alcohol is what I used to numb the pain of my depression and suicidal thoughts. Honestly I wouldn’t be alive if I didn’t get sober. I don’t even recognize that person. This is my mental health story. I quit my job as a sports reporter to start The Mental Game podcast because I don't want anyone to struggle like I did with depression and suicide. I can't wait to share these conversations with you, but first here's my story.
