In this video, I delve into the exciting topic of why former F1 drivers like Kimi Räikkönen and Jenson Button are partnering with NASCAR teams to join the world's largest stock car racing series.

To provide some context, I start by exploring the history of NASCAR and its popularity, before diving into the changes that the NASCAR leadership have made to improve the cars, calendar, and intensity of the racing.

Throughout the video, I offer commentary and analysis, supported by compelling graphs and statistics.

At various points, I also showcase some thrilling on-track action, including the signature V8 engine noise - a true treat for any motorsports enthusiast!

Make sure to stick around until the end, where I highlight the stories of Jenson Button and Kimi Räikkönen, two former F1 greats making their mark in NASCAR.

Thanks for tuning in, and as always, feel free to leave your thoughts and comments below.

I am back with a full episode of the podcast in which I'll be reviewing all the team and driver lineups for Formula 1 in 2023 and judging to what extent they meet sports analysis' ultimate test - Do they have that Dog in them?

To some, this is an arbitrary, pointless, and farcical excuse - those people are boring. I have very little to offer on the subject of detailed technical research, so this is my alternative.

I would recommend Technical Writers Craig Scarborough (@ScarbsTech) or Sam Collins (@NorthHertsSam) if you want actual information on how the cars work and what makes them go fast.

In this video, I'll be covering the following chapters and timestamps:

0:00 - Intro

I'll kick off the show with a quick intro and an overview of what to expect in the episode.

0:55 - Tiger Woods' PGA Debut

I'll take a quick detour into the golf history books and talk about the pro debut of Tiger Woods in 1996, more specifically an infamous interview in which a TV pundit questioned his competitive spirit.

5:49 - The Back of Grid, P10-8

In this chapter, I'll take a closer look at the drivers and teams at the back of last year's world championship tables. With changes in team principals and driver lineups there is always room for progress.

17:04 - The Midfield Battle, P7-4

Next up, I'll explore the midfield battle and take a closer look at the drivers who are fighting to rise up the ranks of the sport to ascend into the higher tier of prize money and sponsorship.

37:30 - The Leaders, P3-1

Finally, I'll analyze the leaders, the drivers who are in competition for the sport's two world championships.

Thank you very much for watching, and feel free to argue to your wits end in the comments; it helps the algorithm.
