First episode of Finding Hope Along The Journey, a caregiver's perspective to managing life, chaos, and everything in between. Join us as we discuss caregiving for a loved one, while keeping your sanity. Guest hosts will talk about how their journey started and resources they have found helpful along the way.
This week I discuss self-care: why is it important, why we need to do it for us and no one else, and finding what works for you.
Join me each week while myself and guests discuss how we manage caregiving life. Every caregiver on this planet deserves to be heard, and here you have that space!
In this episode, I am joined by Jodi Nieslowski who shares her journey as a caregiver for her husband, Brent.
Brent suffered a spinal cord injury after falling from his tree stand while hunting in 2020.
Jodi shares with us what she has learned on this path and how she manages being a wife, mom, caregiver, and working two jobs.
Jodi reflects on finding strength through her faith and how she realized along the way that self-care is vital to being a caregiver.
Thank you to Jodi for sharing her story and perspective on being a family caregiver.
Thank you Bachik Methods for all the work you do!
