Love, Evolved provides expert advice on conscious relationships by holistic psychologist Leigh-Anne LoPinto.
What a fun episode all about relationship astrology! Sarah Norris is a spiritual coach with a heart centred, holistic approach. She weaves astrology, tarot, yoga and aromatherapy together to guide you to personal empowerment, using the information from the readings in a constructive and practical way.
We get into the basics of relationship astrology, both what you can learn from your own birth chart, and from a synastry chart (comparing two people together).
We get into the basics of working with astrology for insights into our relationships, focusing mostly on romantic relationships, and how we can use our birth chart to understand ourselves better, understand our partners better, and how we can work together in partnership.
We cover general compatibility through sun signs, Venus and Mars placements, and the descendant. We also talk about how Venus and Mars relate to the divine feminine and masculine energies, and ways you can go deeper when looking to see what house each of these falls in.
Sarah also covers some interesting bits about the north node and south node placements in a synastry chart that I had never learned before. She also shares about the different aspects and what they mean (sextile, trine, conjunction, opposition, square, etc.)
We hope you enjoy this episode; what questions or comments do you have for us? Relationship astrology can go so, so deep, so I highly recommend that you book a session with Sarah if you want to go deeper.

I loved this conversation with Sophie + Yerasimos about their relationship of almost 10 years. They are both deeply dedicated to inner work and growth, which really shows in the marriage they've created.
We speak about how important it was for them to build a strong foundation of friendship first, which allowed them to get to know each other in a way that looks very different from the typical process of dating.
We also discussed how they get through conflict in a healthy way, the importance of not sweeping things under the rug, and elevating each other towards their highest selves.
Understanding basic relationship psychology, attachment styles, and parts work are key for these two; in addition to understanding the nervous system and human design.
Personal responsibility is a huge value for these two, and it really shows! I have seen this to be such a key value in healthy relationships, when both people are able to take ownership for their stuff, to apologize and repair.
These two are so real and straightforward; lots of takeaways for inspiration. Reach out with any comments or questions!

This is for you if you've ever experienced any form of mistreatment, have struggled with boundaries, have the caretaker/rescuer/fixer pattern, and could benefit from developing a spine.

In this episode, I'm so happy to speak with Joel Schafer, a shamanic dreaming arts teacher, about sexuality and relationships from a shamanic perspective.
We get into so much together - the predator energy at the heart of sexual trauma and abuse energy, working consciously with our sexuality, collective patterns of open relationships, how monogamy is a path of honor, and gender confusion.
We also speak about the dynamics between men + women, working together in a complementary way, evolutionary relationships, and so much more.
This episode is a joy to listen to, and Joel offers so much wisdom.
Joel Schafer is a shamanic dreaming arts teacher offering courses as well as mentoring sessions for individuals and couples in which he assists and guides people in emotional & energetic transformation.
Joel teaches shamanic movements, recapitulation, dreaming awake training & gazing disciplines. He has been a student to some very rare medicine men & women, seers, psychics, healers & sorcerers and he shares his knowledge on his channel Perceiver on YouTube and offers free consultation to those that are called to connect.

This week, I share the story of my almost 20 year relationship with my ex-husband and father of my child, the man I truly believed was my soulmate, and how I moved through total rock bottom when our marriage collapsed.
I share the hard lessons I had to learn about what I was bringing into the relationship that was not working (things like insecure attachment, low self worth, codependency, and victim mentality) and how I healed.
I also share how I learned to love and value myself, moved into secure attachment, learned about boundaries, and unhooked from codependency. And, how I stopped being a people pleaser and moved into true authenticity.
I also speak about how I learned to navigate conflict, speak truth, and become an empowered empath. There's so much more in this episode, too!
Healing from divorce and hard break-ups is 100% possible when we understand that there is wisdom in the wounds and have support people around us who can help alchemize and learn the lessons that we need to learn.
As always, I share tons of resources in the show notes, including my video lessons on How to Heal from a Breakup and The Trap of Codependency.

This is the most public I have ever been about my story.
[Note: I don't get into details of the abuse, but rather focus on the negative affects I faced as a result, and the approach I took to heal. This is a fairly easy listen, so please dive in.]
I have learned that a dual approach to healing is required - working both psychologically and energetically - and share why.
Sexual abuse is a major challenge we are facing collectively, and in order to heal, we need to speak openly and honestly, remove the shame, and get to work.
The energy behind sexual abuse is a predator that seeks to control and manipulate in order to gain power. Once you understand this, it gives you a much more complete picture of how to address it.

In this episode, I go deeper on the topic of codependency in parenting.
I talk about what codependency is and how it shows up in the parent/child relationship - through a lack of healthy boundaries, enmeshment, over-involvement, and more.
Codependency in parenting also correlates to permissive parenting.
Single parents need to be especially vigilant, as codependency can unconsciously cause them to treat the child as their spouse. They may fill an internal void with the child's life and not give them space to develop their own sense of self.
I speak about the negative impacts codependency in parenting has on children and teenagers, and also speak about energetic cords and energetic standpoint of problems it can cause.
Ultimately, every step forward in your own healing of codependence will benefit your child (or future children). I hope this episode is helpful for you; please reach out if you need support.

This is a very special episode where I asked my client Alysondra Duke to share her story of building an incredible life of empowerment, self-love, expansion, and conscious relating. Alysondra has come from a life that has not been easy - a tough childhood with less than ideal caregiving that led to relational wounding that impacted her adult relationships. When we met, she was settling for way less than she deserved in relationships. Now, with committed work and dedication to building a life that she is proud of, she is a completely different person. I can't wait to share this inspiring conversation with you!

In this powerful conversation with Khatija Dadabhoy, we speak about our undying love and devotion to men collectively, seeing their greatness and welcoming them into their greatness, despite both of us having very difficult and hurtful experiences with men.
We share our stories around relating with men, starting from childhood, why we feel like women still have faith despite being hurt, and what our grand visions are for the future of the relationship between men + women.

This was an important conversation where we try to see the bigger thing, take ownership for our part, and also reflect on where men can step up. Let us know what you think - reach out to either of us with any comments or questions. Thanks for listening!

I'm so happy to share this conversation that I had with my friend Katrina Hart, talking about the journey of evolution through integrating and working with the inner masculine (Carl Jung refers to this as animus integration).
This episode is for any woman who wants to learn more about working with the inner masculine for overall balance and harmony - both within herself and with relationships with others. We speak about the importance of discernment, boundaries, logic, courageousness and overall strength.
When we develop our inner masculine in healthy ways, it can help hold our embodiment of the feminine principle at deeper levels. This also helps us to learn the energetic agility to dance between both energetics as needed in our day to day lives - in addition to knowing the energetic signature of the healthy masculine so we can spot it in men if we are choosing partners.

In this episode, I speak about this huge problem that I see with the women who come to me for support - they continually get themselves involved with men who do not treat them very well. The sexual attraction to these "bad boys" is so strong that despite their best intentions, they get pulled in and mixed up in very unhealthy relationships.
I talk about why this problem is so widespread, what we can do to rewire our sexual attraction so that we desire healthy, stable partners, and how to begin deconditioning ourselves from the programming that has influenced us around what traits are desirable in men.
I also speak about the link between sexual abuse and trauma and how healing these wounds can help heal your sexuality by removing the mixed up abuse and sexual energy so that you can experience relationships filled with love and support while reclaiming your right to have a fulfilling sex life.

In Episode #30 of the Love, Evolved podcast, I welcome on a very special guest: Dr. George Simon. Dr. Simon is the leading expert on manipulators, narcissists and other disturbed characters, and has studied this phenomenon for over 42 years.
This episode is for you if you are a kind-hearted, compassionate individual who finds yourself getting taken advantage of in relationships.
Dr. Simon and I speak about the rise of narcissism and what has contributed to this problem, what some of the common tactics that people with narcissism and other character disorders use to manipulate others, and how to protect yourself if you find that you get tangled up with these types of people. Is the phrase, "Hurt people hurt people" always true? And where are we with treating narcissism and character disorders today?

This episode is short and sweet, and is for you if you've ever shape shifted or molded yourself into someone you're not in order to get love (whether consciously or unconsciously, and especially during dating or the beginning stages of a relationship.)
We've all done this, so there's no shame. But there is a way out, especially because this usually comes back to bite us in the end.
In this episode, I speak all about the importance of authenticity and how to create relationships from the true self. The payoff is worth everything.

On this episode, Roy Wang and I speak about the theme of men, women, and power.
What is true power vs. false power, and how can the journey towards empowerment sometimes look different for men and women?
How can power be a healthy goal for all of us, a spiritual journey, and an essential part of becoming integrated men and women?
We speak about so many different expressions of power: physical strength, beauty, authenticity, knowing your true self, and women as oracles.
Ultimately, we believe that both men and women can both claim their unique gifts of power in order to help lift each other up vs. compete with each other.
This is an essential episode to listen to in order to understand how empowerment is our birthright, how returning to traditional gender roles may not be the way, and what the path forward can look like for collaborative relationships between men + women.

Anya Shakh, host of the Venus and Mars podcast, joins us for this incredible discussion on the higher and lower path of relationships.
We are at the crossroads right now in love, sex, and relationships. The higher path that is wide open and available for us to step into involves highly conscious relationships and the spiritual path of divine union.
The lower path is everything in our culture that is preventing us from stepping in to this higher road - the division between men + women, depolarization, erosion of human connection, and technology. It also includes the trend of non-monogamy and giving up on commitment, confusion and chaos in relating to one another, and hyper-individualism.
Anya and I are passionate about healing the relationship between men + women and bridging the gap. Now is not the time to give up on each other, we need each other more than ever. There are things we can do to heal and come back together in healthy, lasting ways, and we speak about all of this on the episode.

This was one of my favorite episodes so far, with so much rich discussion - can't wait for you listen!
We start out with an overview of evolutionary relationships (and discuss our upcoming masterclass on this topic on Oct 6, 2022, see link below) and how we are seeing that people are ready for a new level of spiritual partnership.

In Episode 18 of the Love, Evolved Podcast, I was so honored to talk with Kellen + Perri Chase, who openly share about their beautiful relationship - the story of how they met, how they handle conflict, keeping each other a priority during parenting, and so much more.
Perri Chase is an incredible spiritual teacher for thousands of people, sharing her knowledge and embodied wisdom around working with energetic mastery of the feminine + masculine in business and life. Kellen is the support system holding it all together in the background, and also works with men in Perri's community.
These two together are such a joy to witness, and their love and adoration for each other is so strong. They are incredible models of conscious relationships, and I was so grateful to have them on.
Note: I confused them at the beginning when I said I was excited to talk about how they practice masculine/feminine polarity - I should be more clear when using that phrase, I'm not talking about the popular way it's being taught, but rather the true meaning of that phrase which is the union of the masculine + feminine, specifically inner union and how that is facilitated in partnership through outer union.
Perri actually speaks beautifully about this when she introduces herself and the work that she does, and this was a big reason I was drawn to her, because I could see clearly that she works with both the feminine + masculine in this way. I'll record an episode soon where I clarify what I mean about 'true' polarity - which is inner alchemical union, or the balance of masculine/feminine within, not what popular teachers are talking about.
Other areas we touched upon:
What their relationship and attraction look like
What women really want
Choosing partners from a place beyond trauma and preferences by learning to open and receive
The whole purpose of relationships - mirroring in order to help heal each others' wounds, and how relationships may or may not last forever
When people act out of desperation in unnatural ways in order to cling to relationships that may have reached completion
How Perri decided to stop acting like a chameleon to please partners and just be truly herself, take it or leave it
How to avoid taking on your partner's mood and turning into the rescuer
The ego death process that happens in conscious relationships
The misconception in the masculine/feminine polarity spaces that 'the male leads' - nobody's ego should be leading a relationship
Inner union as the most important aspect of the spiritual path of divine union
Parenting and how Kellen + Perri play untraditional roles that work perfectly for them
The heaviness of Mom guilt
How they do conflict
Final words of wisdom/advice for men, women + couples and how you can work with them
I loved this episode, I've never laughed so much with guests before and our conversation was both fun and impactful. Cannot wait for you to listen.

In this episode, I talk with Quentin Hick, who I met in Lorin Krenn’s membership community. My intention for this episode is to elevate men's voices and show examples of men doing the work who care about improving relationships and learning new ways of relating.
In the world of love + relationships, the conversations and spaces are dominated by women, and the #1 thing I hear from the women that I work with is, "where are all the conscious men?" So recently, I've been inviting more men on the podcast to serve as examples that yes, there are men who care about this work.

Kyle and Abby both express so beautifully how to do relationships well and how to use them as a vehicle for growth + evolution. There is so much inspiring wisdom in this episode that I can't wait for you to listen!

We had a great conversation about what conscious relationships mean to us, what they look like in real life, and certain keys to success that are necessary for long-term relationships. We covered a lot, including:

The two books we recommend by David Deida with regards to masculine/feminine polarity are Intimate Communion and The Way of the Superior Man.
In this powerful episode, Jillian Anderson shares her story of shifting from career mode into fully embracing motherhood and being a wife. She so bravely shares her truth around this in a time where none of this is popular to talk about, and she's had to wade through a lot of criticism publicly as a result. What I love about Jillian is her strong dedication to her core values and deprogramming how we've been taught to be women (in ways that aren't helpful for most of us). We get into gender roles, biological differences between men + women, parenting, and so much more.
