Why do you do what you do?
Remember when you were a little kid, what was the one word that you repeated over and over?
Why?
Why does that happen? Why do I have to take a nap? Why? Why? Why?
In this episode, I challenge you to think about what is your Why?
Why do you do the job that you do?
Why did you choose the career that you did?
Why do you want to become an edupreneur?
And as you embark on your edupreneurial journey, you need to be clear about your why.
Having a clear why will help keep you focused on your mission and will lead to your success and the success of your clients or students.
Here's your action steps for today's episode:
- Find somewhere to write down your WHY! Keep it handy so when you encounter hardship, which you will, you can go back and re-read it to keep you on your path.
- And if you don't have a why yet, well it's time for you to figure out your why.
- If you have your why, revise it and make sure it align with the path that you are still on today.

In this episode, I challenge you to think about your goals, your SMART goals, and go beyond your goals being ACHIEVABLE and REALISTIC.
If you haven't set goals yet, I challenge you to do so. I used to keep my goals in my head and many were quite lofty; however, it would take me forever to get close to achieving them since I didn't attach the T, the time factor. I push you to go beyond setting ACHIEVABLE and REALISTIC goals, but make sure they are still SMART.
Here is a quick reminder about what smart goals are:
- Specific (simple, sensible, significant).
- Measurable (meaningful, motivating).
- Achievable (agreed, attainable).
- Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based).
- Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive)
Your task:

Set a SMART goal or two and make sure that they are beyond Achievable and Realistic
-
If you have goals, revise them to see if they are SMART and then check how Achievable and Realistic they are.
