In today’s episode, we’re chatting with Connor, a mechanical engineer and second-generation Chinese Canadian. Connor shares how he defied his parents’ wishes to pursue his passion for engineering. He also discusses his journey as one of the few Asian faces in his field - from working in construction, to the oil sands in Alberta, experiencing the devastating impacts of the oil crash, and eventually finding a career he loves in the defense sector.
