An Igbo Proverb says:
“No one gets a mouthful of food by picking between someone else’s teeth.”
Symbolically, food is what we give the body for energy and nutrients. Food is the substance needed to keep our bodies burning fuel and operating accordingly. Food can therefore be symbolized as anything of value we wish to accompany our lives. Anything we wish to hold on to, to swallow, and to make part of us in a way that will give us nourishment of spirit. Primarily this food is Yah’s word, our daily and living bread. But this food can also be other things such as livelihood, relationships, etc.
2Th 3:11 For we hear of some among you walking disorderly, not working at all, but are busybodies.
2Th 3:12 But we command and urge such, through our Master ????? Messiah, to settle down, work and eat their own bread.
No one can get a mouthful of this “food” by constantly minding someone else’s business. Stop looking for flaws in other people since in doing so you will never see the flaws in yourself, since you will never get a mouthful of anything by picking between another person’s teeth:
1Ti 5:13 Moreover, they learn to be idle, going about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, speaking what is improper.

If you appreciate what you have, you will be given more. If you do not appreciate what you have, it will be taken from you and you will be humbled n the process. Can Yah trust you with what he has given you? Or will he have to bring you down?

How do we erase evil from our hearts?
If our thoughts are not clear then our words and our actions won’t be either. To eradicate sin from our actions, we have to eradicate sin from our thoughts. Starting with love, we must begin to focus on the flaws we carry inside our hearts instead of focusing so much on the outside:
Heb 4:12 For the Word of Yah is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Heb 4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all are naked and laid bare before the eyes of Him with whom is our account.

Hebrew women are beautiful, but it is not the only thing she has going for herself. It is never wise to put more into our outer appearance than our inner appearance. Every woman enjoys the daintiness of womanhood, but without Yah and Yahoshua messiYah, this loveliness is deceptive, and it's prettiness is vain.
But let's go deeper, what does it mean to fear Yah? And how does this fear play a role in our daily lives? How does it play in our role as submissive women to our husbands and the men in the assembly?
