One case involves a soccer player who was grossly misdiagnosed with shin splints by 2 different providers before being correctly diagnosed with a stress fracture.
In the second case he discusses a chronic hamstring strain with sciatic nerve entrapment, leading to long term tightness, pain, and weakness.

On today’s episode Dr. Michael debunks a couple healthcare myths and misconceptions using examples of real patients seeking help from us at Tideline:
Can you get low back muscle spasms because your upper neck is slightly rotated?
Can your hip/pelvis really go out and would that be causing a pinch in the front of your hip?
