I have heard first-hand stories of people who had their whole bank accounts seized and stolen by their corrupt government and institutions. The current way of doing things, where we encourage kids to memorise facts so they can get good results in tests so they can choose degrees at 18 years old is broken.  An 18-year-old doesn't know about themselves enough let alone what they want out of a career.  Are we making a mistake by sucking kids into committing to $50,000 university degrees at the age of 18?  - Statistics suggest that 75% of people get into fields that are unrelated to the degree they did at university.  Why is this? - Because kids jump into degrees not knowing exactly what they want to do.  These arent cheap decisions, they are extremely costly.  How about we stop placing the burden on our kids and stop selling them the 'big dream'?
