Hello everyone!
Welcome to my entry to Afritunes week 94.
I'm @ddn688 by username and I'll be performing a popular Igbo gospel song sang in most of the churches in Igbo land, Nigeria.
I got inspired to present this song to the public because of what God has done for me.
Earlier this year, I wasn't sure of what life had to offer up until the month of September when I got a purpose to strive harder.
It wasn't an easy ride, but God's grace and mercies we're sufficient.
I walked through the process of doing my national service (NYSC) with my business flourishing like I had done it before. The stress was much, but God strengthened me.
For this, I'll continue to glorify my God for all that He has done for me.
Using the song titled "Aka ya" explained it all.

Welcome to my entry to Hive Open Mic Week 166. The theme of the week is Never Give Up.
Life on earth seems to be more like a battle field where everyone struggles to live above the poverty margin.
Amidst the fight against poverty and greed of men, man must have one ruler, a king who directs and protects His people, even against all odds.
For me, my fight to live as a being had been stationed on God for all things are possible with him. Therefore, I will never give up because He lives forever and cares for me.
I call Him the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the begining and the end.
In my dialect (Igbo language - Nigeria), He is the Igwe, the Eze ndi Eze (King of Kings), the Oka ome (Who says and does).
In my Acapella song, I praised God with a well known gospel song in Nigeria sang by Mercy Chnwo who featured Preye Odede titled "Eze".
In the performance, I called Jehovah my Eze (King) who cares, who I'll never give up on.

It's a thing of joy to welcome you to my entry video to Hive Open Mic week 164.
The theme of the week is Hopeful and I will be performing a victorious Christian praise song sang in churches within Nigeria and its neighboring countries.
The original author of the song is Mr Victor Ike who has used this very song to give God praises in many big occasions with very large number of believers.
Why I choose to sing this song for my entry is because, Nigeria and its political rulers have left us in a situation whereby, the government belongs to a specific sect of individuals from decade to decade.
There's no doubt that most young people have not heard of a change or shift in the political parties or positions since birth. Same people everywhere.
I'm being very hopeful for the Mighty Will of God to be done.
Well, I'll continue to be thankful to God for the gift of life (ose iye = thank you), guidance and protection.
I live because He lives. I'm Alive and Thriving because He made it a possibility.

It's been a while since I posted here on Hive Blockchain.
It's not that I've not been around, but a bit busy with office jobs.
On Sunday, I was lucky to worship at Victory Chapel in UNIUYO, Nigeria.
In the church were the Classical choir who sang great song (as presented in the video).
Their choice of song seemed to be a preamble of what's to come during Christmas carol night.

Earlier this today, I saw this duck standing on the old fence before a cassava farmland located some meters away from the village house.
I was surprised to go closer to the duck without being challenged by it.
As I was about to lay my hands on it, it flew away happily to another location.
What a wonderful world.
I thank God for the gift of life, guidance and protection shown to me today.
It's been a while since I saw birds like this.
In conclusion, am Alive and Thriving.

Welcome to my entry post to the second Annual Ecency Art Contest.
The previous edition was fun and ended with some joy, happiness and smiles showered on the faces of the participants. This time is greater as lots of prizes are to be won.
I'll be making my first entry of the first category video/gif/animation.
I created a video using some materials from pixabay.com which I must acknowledge the authors of the material used.
At first, I had the idea of making my own short video, but the needed materials were not readily available and would cost me some money and skills which I still don't have at hand.
Through the help of great materials from pixabay, I created a lovely short video using Canva and Inshot mobile apps to get this lovely advertisement produced at its cheapest prices while time invested in the production was minimal.

It's the Afri-Tunes week 23 and this is my entry.
Yeah, I looked not far from what I've got in my playlist. The songs to sing are many, but the fact remains static. It's not about having many songs in your playlist, it's about your favorite songs in your playlist.
For me, it's 2face Idibia's song with the title "Dance Floor".
This song was sang when Nigeria was about to face its problems as translated by the song artist in the early stage before the country faced recession.
Nigerians were asked to stall differences between tribes and ethnic beliefs in order to tackle the inevitable economic crisis, but the reverse was the case.
Does it means that Nigeria can not come back from its collapsed sectors of the government?
It's a no because, this I can say is not God's plan for His people.

I'll be performing a song done by Darey (a Nigerian singer) with the title "Not the girl".
I chose to sing this song because it saves me the street of thinking deep about my past relationships. Yeah, I buckled up to ride my horse (my love life) since it's inherent in me.

Well, this is my light and I must let it shine, even in the dark world.
Yeah, I believe that the world has no limitations to whatever I wish to do and I stand as my only barrier 🚧.

Just few days ago, I saw this wonderful creature on the floor trying to run away from my presence.
My first thought was to kill it but on second thought, it came to me that there is a platform/community that would reward me if I do a video with it.
I tried videoing it but the movements and disturbance was much so I decided to make this heroic type of video with it.
