There is a boss in ALL of us - especially for those of us who have historically lacked representation at the top in leadership. The #BetheBossNow Podcast is hosted by Gregory Allan Datu Cendana, Entrepreneur and #1 International best-selling author of “Be the Boss Now: 15 Key Steps to Start, Run and Grow Your Own Business”. In this series, Gregory celebrates the entrepreneurial journeys of different folks who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Middle Eastern, women, queer, people with disabilities, and those living at the intersections of multiple of these identities. Join us as we challenge the dominant narrative about what it means to be a boss, who gets to see themselves represented, and why fear and failure may be our greatest teachers on the road to making our biggest, boldest, and most audacious dreams a reality. About Gregory: Dancer, Strategist, Facilitator, and Entrepreneur Gregory Allan Datu Cendana is President and Co-Founder of Can’t Stop! Won’t Stop! Consulting, Chief Creative Officer of Greg Dances, Co-Founder of The People’s Collective for Justice and Liberation, and #1 International Best Selling Author of #BeTheBossNow. He was the first openly gay and youngest-ever Executive Director of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO, and Institute for Asian Pacific American Leadership & Advancement. Gregory was also the first openly gay and first Filipino American elected Chair of the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans, Co-Founder of the diversity initiative Inclusv, and serves on the board of directors for United We Dream and Asian Mental Health Collective as Treasurer. Gregory was President of the United States Student Association (USSA), where he played an integral role in the passage of the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act and the Healthcare and Education Reconciliation Act. He also co-authored Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) Behind Bars: Exposing the School to Prison to Deportation Pipeline, a first-of-its-kind report on the impact of mass incarceration and mass criminalization in the AAPI community. In his spare time, Gregory enjoys singing karaoke, choreographing dances, and trying new recipes.
