Join us as Pastor Todd continues the sermon series from the Gospel of Luke by taking a look at Luke 6:12-26. Today's sermon title is "The Difference Between Temporary and Eternal." Throughout each day, we continually make choices. Some of those choices might even seem insignificant at the time. For example: what's for lunch, what's for dinner, etc.? However, there is one choice that is much more serious. That choice is whether or not to live our lives for the glory of Christ. When we make that decision, it is one that is eternal.

Join us as Pastor Todd continues the sermon series from the Gospel of Luke and takes a look at Luke 6:1-11. The title of this sermon is "When Religion Misses Jesus." We can be faithful in church attendance. We can know all of the songs. We can know the order of the service. We can memorize many Bible verses. However, it is possible to do all of those things and not have a relationship with Jesus. May our focus always be on Christ!

They were two very powerful words - "Follow Me." Just like Jesus called Levi, Jesus still calls people today! But the real question is: "will you follow?"

Join us as Pastor Todd continues the sermon series from the Gospel of Luke. In today's sermon, Pastor Todd takes a look at Luke 5:1-11. In this passage, we see that Peter, James and John had fished all night and caught nothing. After the men had finished cleaning their nets, Jesus gave the instructions to "put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." They followed the instructions of Jesus and this time - the catch was so huge that the number of fish started to sink both of the boats. You see, those men had an encounter with Jesus! Listen as Pastor Todd preaches this sermon, "The Power of an Encounter with Jesus."

Today’s sermon is from our associate pastor, Bro. Danny Rowland. In this sermon, Bro. Danny takes a look at Luke 5:1-11 and preaches about the importance of moving beyond simply knowing about Jesus to fully trusting, obeying, and following Christ.
The Bible is not merely a collection of individual stories. It is one unified story with one Author and one Hero. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals God's plan to redeem a people for His glory through Jesus Christ.
In this sermon, we walk through the major movements of the biblical storyline and see how every part points to Christ.
Today, Pastor Todd continues the sermon series from the Gospel of Luke. Today's text is Luke 3:15-38. In today's passage, we will see Jesus as the perfect Savior sent from Heaven. The Holy Spirit descends on Jesus at His baptism, and then Luke traces the genealogy of Jesus all the way back to Adam ... and in that genealogy, we see imperfect people ... but Jesus came to rescue them! Adam and Eve failed, but Jesus would not fail. Although we are imperfect people, we have a perfect Savior!

This sermon was preached on Resurrection Sunday 2026. In this sermon, we take a look at Matthew 28:1-20 and will see that the cross was not the end. Instead, the resurrection of Christ demands a response. Jesus commissioned those initial disciples with what we know as the Great Commission. Just like with those initial disciples, the resurrection also demands a response from us.

On Sunday, March 15th, Pastor Todd began a new sermon series. This series will take us through the pages of the Gospel of Luke. In this first sermon, we took a look at Luke 1:1-25. The title of this sermon is "When God Breaks the Silence." Have you ever experienced a time in your life when you felt that God was silent? As today's text begins, there had been an approximate 400 year period where no Scripture had been recorded and no canonical prophetic word had been recorded. It began after the ministry of Malachi, our last Old Testament prophet. This 400 year period ended with the announcement that John the Baptist would be born. In this sermon, Pastor Todd reminds the listener, that although God may seem to be silent, He is often working behind the scenes and is preparing us for something.

On this final Sunday of the year 2025, Pastor Todd preached from John 6:16-33. The title of this sermon is "Since Jesus Passed By." As the year 2025 ends and 2026 begins, some of us might find ourselves like the disciples in our text today ... in the middle of a storm. When the disciples welcomed Jesus into their boat, the boat was immediately on the shore. However, the Scripture does not tell us that the storm ended. However, it certainly looked radically different once Jesus was in the boat. In the coming year, may we fix our eyes on Jesus and follow Him!

As we look at today’s text, 1 Thessalonians 3:1-13, we are not simply reading a letter. Instead, we are seeing a picture of a pastor who loves the people that God had given him. As we think of what has occurred to this point, remember that Paul had led these people to Jesus, but we know from the book of Acts that Paul was forced to leave Thessalonica after just being there for a short time. Paul was being persecuted there.
Paul did not have an easy way to check on them, and he was burdened for these people. So he sent Timothy to check on them. When Paul received Timothy’s report that the Thessalonians were standing strong, Paul rejoiced. However, Paul continued to pray for these people.
The title of today’s sermon is “Will You Stand?” When trials, temptations and persecution comes, will you stand on God’s Word?

Today, we continue the 1 Thessalonians sermon series with a sermon from chapter 2, verses 13-20. The sermon title is “The Word at Work.”
God’s Word is so much words than simply words on a page. God’s Word is inspired and inerrant and it is to be at work in those who believe. Paul reminds us that the gospel is what changes lives, even in the face of hardship.
This passage also gives us a glimpse into the heart of a shepherd. We see Paul’s love for the Thessalonians, his willingness to suffer for the sake of the gospel, and his joy in seeing them walk with Christ.

1 Thessalonians 2:1–12 gives us a picture of what true, God-honoring ministry looks like. Paul and his companions didn’t preach for popularity or profit, but with courage and integrity, even in the face of suffering. They had arrived at the point in their lives where their goal wasn’t to please people but to please God. God sees the heart.
They cared deeply for the Thessalonian believers—like a gentle mother tenderly nurturing her children and like a father encouraging and guiding his family. Their lives matched their message, and they urged others to “walk worthy of God, who calls you into His kingdom and glory.”
Always remember that true ministry is not about power, prestige, or applause—it’s about humility, sincerity, and a deep love that points people to Christ.

Join us as Pastor Todd begins a new sermon series from the book of 1 Thessalonians. We are living in a time where the world needs to see a church that lives faithfully and stands firm on the Word of God. Although some churches throughout our world today seem to chase popularity and acceptance from the culture, what God blesses and uses has not changed, nor will it change. God will honor a church that is committed to holy living and is grounded in the Gospel.

Join us as Pastor Todd continues the sermon series from the Book of Galatians. Today we will take a look at Galatians 5:1-26. We live in a time when freedom is preached from every corner. However, the Bible speaks of a much greater freedom. The freedom that the Bible speaks of was purchased and paid in full by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. This is not freedom to sin. It is not freedom to compromise with the world. Instead, it is freedom from the bondage of the law and the power of the flesh. This sermon is for anyone who is tired of trying to "measure up" and is ready to be led by the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday, July 20th, Pastor Todd continued the sermon series from the book of Galatians with sermon number 5 in this series. The title of this sermon is "From Slaves to Sons," and we took a look at chapter 4 of the Book of Galatians in its entirety.
Galatians chapter 4 is one of the most powerful chapters that is contained in the entire book of Galatians. In this sermon, we see from the text that Paul reminds us that if we are in Christ, we are no longer slaves, but instead sons (and daughters) of God. As we look at the sermon text, we see that although the Galatians had experienced the freedom that results from the saving power of Jesus Christ, they were trying to now rely on religious legalism. This was the result of false teaching that they had been subjected to.
In today's world, people struggle with various things. Maybe for you it is a struggle with guilt, or possibly you might be struggling with your identity in Christ. If you are currently struggling with either of these things that I've just mentioned (or anything else), this message is for you.

Join us as Pastor Todd continues the 2 Peter sermon series and takes a look at 2 Peter 2:1-10. In today's text, Peter exposes the false teachers. Pastor Todd reminds us today that hearers of the preached word have the responsibility to take what they hear and compare it directly to God's Word. Unfortunately, false teachers are still on the scene today. In today's society, many people today seem willing to entertain someone who preaches "what they like to hear." Pastor Todd reminds us to remember that God's Word is true from cover to cover. It has not changed, nor will it change.

Join us as Pastor Todd begins a new sermon series - a six week series that will take us through the book of 2 Peter. Today's text was 2 Peter 1:1-11. Pastor Todd explained that Peter had three primary purposes when he wrote this letter that we now know as the book of 2 Peter. One of the purposes was to tell us about the dangers of false teachers. Another purpose was to remind us that our faith in Jesus Christ should never become stale. Finally, Peter wrote to encourage believers and to remind them that Jesus is indeed coming back again! In this first sermon of this series, we took a look at some characteristics that are to be on display in the life of each true follower of Jesus Christ.
Join us for today’s podcast as Pastor Todd concludes the 1 Peter sermon series with the 8th and final sermon in this series. Today’s text is 1 Peter 5:1-14. Throughout this sermon series, we've seen that if we are truly in Christ, we have a Living Hope. We've seen in God’s Word that for believers, submission is required on our part (to authorities and in marriage - unless you are being asked to do something that contradicts God's Word). Most recently, we've seen that true Christians will indeed suffer for the sake of righteousness.
In this final sermon, we see what God's Word says about service to Him - how we are expected to serve all of the time, but especially when it is difficult. We will see the great importance of walking in humility.
In this week’s sermon, Pastor Todd continues the 1 Peter series and preaches from 1 Peter 4:1-19, We learn not to be surprised by suffering, but to expect it as part of the Christian journey. Peter encourages believers to view suffering as a way to refine our faith and bear witness to God's grace in a fallen world. Through trials, we are called to persevere, live according to God's will, and rejoice in the hope that our suffering is temporary, while our reward is eternal.
Join us as Pastor Todd continues the 1 Peter sermon series and takes a look a 1 Peter 3:13-22. The title of today's sermon is "Suffering for the Sake of Righteousness." Today Pastor Todd encourages us to look to the cross and to remember the extreme sacrifice that Christ made for us. When we look to the cross, it helps to put our suffering in the proper prospective.
In today's sermon, Pastor Todd takes a brief departure from the 1 Peter sermon series to preach a sermon from Luke 2:1-20. This is a very familiar passage of Scripture - it's the Christmas story. Let's take a fresh look today at this powerful passage of Scripture, and may we truly worship like those shepherds did!

Rooted in God's Truth and strengthened by His Spirit, we are equipped to stand firm, lovingly but firmly confronting the world's shifting standards with the unchanging word of God. Let's gather together to deepen our understanding, renew our resolve, and commit ourselves to a faith that stands resilient in every season.
Join us as Pastor Todd concludes the sermon series from the Book of Philippians with the 8th and final sermon in this series. In today's sermon, we take a look at two additional ways that radical joy presents itself. May we, like Paul, make the proclamation "I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. We don't live there anymore. Let's press on and keep our eyes on Christ!
