Welcome back to What's wrong with Recruitment?
This week we sit down with James Adeleke, founder of Generation Success to discuss all things emerging talent, why grad schemes are still reserved for the top 10% and what impact all of this is going to have on the corporate world in the next 10-20 years.
I want to call attention to a phrase I often use and am very aware I said multiple times during this episode 'you guys' is a gendered expression and I was using it when referring to a non-gender specific group. To some people, this may be unimportant, but my hope is not to offend anyone with my language, and so if I did, I apologise and I'm always striving to do better.
I've said it before, I want this podcast to be a brave and vulnerable space so that is what I am bringing.

Hello everyone, let me start by saying that I am SO grateful that you are here.
What's wrong with recruitment was inspired by the fact that I have been the problem, I've delivered shtty candidate experiences and definitely pssed off a client or two along the way (did I mention I've got a bit of a potty mouth; if not sorry!)
I don't have all the answers, what I do know are some industry experts that can give us an insight from their perspective about what's wrong with recruitment, and, what we can do to fix it.
Today's episode however, is none of that, it's a bit about me and was basically an excuse for me to try and get to grips with how to record, edit and upload. Ya know, so I don't embarrass myself in front of any of my awesome guests that I've got lined up!
