Hi I’m Zandi! I am a life coach who helps men and women who struggle with mental health to embody peace and joy so that they can live the life they desire and deserve beyond their current limitations.
In my work I combine my faith, science, as well as more holistic “hippie” methods to treat mental health.
After years of struggling with severe depression and developing anxiety as an adult, I have finally found a way to experience self-love and joy in my life. Mental illness is real, but I believe recovery is possible, and I want to help you too!

Today we’ll be talking about how a relationship with God and the Savior can completely change your life and 100% be the best thing that ever happened to you. We’ll also be addressing feeling betrayed and hurt by God, so there is something here for everyone, no matter what your relationship with God (or lack thereof) is looking like. If you find anything helpful please share! Also sorry for some background noise on this episode. I didn’t realize how much I fidget and that was picked up today.
Today we’ll talk about practical tips on how to come to know God and His goodness better and my personal testimony of His love and goodness despite the frustrations I’ve experienced with Him and my mental health at different times in my life.
If you’re in a dark time the words and ideas I share in this episode have brought me strength and comfort when I have nothing left. I hope you can find them helpful too. Please share with anyone who might need it 🥰
Your host Zandi will talk about Godly boundaries and why they are important and how this understanding will improve your relationship with not only others but God too!
In todays episode we talk about how God lead me to motherhood even though I was reluctant and afraid, how His ways are higher than our ways, how the greatest joy and peace comes from surrendering to His plan and goodness, and how we can love & support our children in a more Godly and Christ-like way. I hope you enjoy and if you took something away from this please please message me about it on Instagram @the.sweet.life.of.zandi
Welcome to the God is Good. My name is Zandi, I’m a life coach and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and here I help you find more joy by recognizing God’s love for you, and by letting go of the pain, fears, and conditioning that may be holding you back from being who God created you to be, and from receiving all of the love and joy blessings that He has to give.
Today we're going to be talking about:
How us judging others is often not actually about them
How faith in Christ helps us not to judge
How taking setting boundaries helps us not to judge
How we can show others more grace and mercy

Today we’re going to be talking about what it means to have an identity in Christ and what that implies, how our idols become our identity, what God means when He is jealous of our idols, and how we may be rejecting Christ and His Atonement. I’m this episode I talk about the journey that has led me here to the podcast I felt called to title God is Good, and to my coaching business I felt called to name Joy in Jesus coaching. I hope what you will learn here going forward will be as transformative to you as it has been to me as well as to my clients.
I’m sharing my story today in hopes that it resonates with some of you. I cannot believe how far I’ve come on my journey to joy. If I can find joy anyone can and I’m determined to help you find yours as I share what I’ve learned through this podcast.
In this episode we talk about the importance of chasing those dreams and goals and what you’ve been thinking and believing that’s been making you so miserable. We also talk about suffering and how to actually avoid it, and trusting in a Higher Power and Plan for our lives.
In this episode we talk about what our top priority is and how we can actually attain what we are reaching for right now, and not later. This concept had been crucial in my mental health recovery.
This episode is filled with silly analogies that will hopefully help you see how important honoring yourself is and how worthy you are of that 💕
Now that you’ve found yourself a little more it’s time to learn to honor and protect that! I hope this episode aides you in your journey and as always I would love to help you if you feel like you’re ready to take on the inner work and a transformation, but you need a little more guidance! You can find me on Instagram @slightli.hippi or you can email me at slightli.hippi@gmail.com Thanks so much for your support and please share this podcast with anyone you feel it may benefit. Much love!
Ryan is a Kung-Fu Master, vegan, going to school and work full-time, and still finds time to exercise regularly, serve others, do projects on his house, keep his house clean, and prepare vegan meals and desserts. Seems like he’s got things figured out so I wanted to see if we could learn a thing or two. Hope you enjoy!
