Catherine speaks with Fr Calvin Robinson. Fr Robinson is a clergyman, political adviser, TV presenter and political commentator. He has repeatedly used his 'Common Sense Crusade' programme on @GBNewsOnline to highlight the injustice of abortion. Here he speaks passionately about the suppression of free speech for pro-lifers, the failings of church leaders who don't raise their head above the parapet to speak on abortion and how the Christian faith affirms the sanctity of life.
Catherine speaks with bioethicist, Dr Greg Pike, about the all too pressing issue of euthanasia. Dr Pike spoke on the separate issue of coerced abortion at both our London and Glasgow conferences this October.

Melissa's story is a fascinating one: at the age of 14 - living with a family who adopted her - she found out that she was a survivor of a 'failed' abortion. This led Melissa to reach out and reconcile with her biological parents. Melissa is now a pro-life speaker and advocate, and the subject of an award-winning documentary. In Episode 9 of Uplift, Catherine speaks with Abby Johnson. Abby spent much of her career as a clinic director at a Planned Parenthood in Texas, before realising the self-serving nature and wickedness of the abortion industry and leaving for good. Abby now acts as a full-time pro-life activist, helping those in the abortion industry who desire to leave to do so.
Uplift is back this week with Professor of Industrial Economics at the University of Nottingham, David Paton.
Here he looks at abortion from the perspective of economics, and how statistics help challenge the veracity of claims from the abortion industry. Particular reference is given to the recent overruling of Roe vs Wade in the US, and how this will inevitably affect legal abortion rates.
In Episode 5 of Uplift, Catherine speaks with mother and author, Silvia Fasana. They speak about her book, 'Eight Hours of Eternity: Giacomo's Story'. In it she tells her story of giving birth to a child with anencephaly, and having just eight hours with him before he sadly died. Her experience speaks to the fact that all human life is of value, irrespective of whether one lives for eight hours or eighty years.
