Through each simple and clear episode, you will learn how to handle the heavy and do the inner work that most of us spend our life running away from. This is a little sneak peek of what's available to you inside the Mothering With Love Audio course. When healing our core wounds, we become different people, which means that how we respond to others, what we define as a good relationship, and how we allow others to treat us, changes.
This bonus episode walks you through how to define, set, and hold your boundaries - both physical and energetic - so that you can have the relationships you want in your life.
To get the full benefit of this work, become a paid subscriber (for only $297 a year!) and access the full course inside. You also get access to posts and podcast episodes that are for your eyes and ears only - think of it as the insider's club for moms who want to love, and live, with their whole heart.

We had another lovely conversation with Sami Garrett, of Good Enough Matrescence, where we talked about the mission she stands for and what brought her to the work she does today.
Some of my favorite moments from our conversation were:
How her first birth was about finding her power, and her second one was about using it.
The moment of realizing that she doesn't need to reach for something more to become a better mom, and the peace & presence that came with that.
When Sami stated that "With living comes growth"
I love getting to hear other mom's stories about their experience of becoming a mom, and how it shapes who they are in this world.
Listen in and enjoy!

I had such a good conversation with Sami Garrett from Good Enough Matrescence about postpartum depression.
This conversation focused on postpartum depression, featuring Gloria, a mother of eight who has experienced postpartum depression seven times and is currently pregnant with her ninth child. Gloria shared her personal journey, including her initial struggles with postpartum depression after her first daughter's birth and how she later learned to manage and prevent it through therapy, self-reflection, and emotional support. She emphasized the importance of recognizing postpartum depression as a complex issue involving hormones, the nervous system, and personal experiences rather than solely a hormonal imbalance. Gloria highlighted the significance of seeking external support, practicing self-compassion, and addressing underlying emotional wounds to overcome depression. She also discussed the role of societal and cultural factors in contributing to postpartum depression and encouraged mothers experiencing it to seek help and not feel ashamed. The conversation concluded with Gloria affirming that mothers struggling with postpartum depression can still be good mothers and that these experiences offer opportunities for personal and familial growth.

How many of us think we shouldn’t feel angry, or jealous, or insecure? And while feeling this way certainly isn’t a good ol party, our negative emotions also have so much to share with us. This isn’t the same thing as acting out our negative feelings - we can feel angry without yelling or throwing things, we can feel jealous without putting someone else down, etc.
Listen in to rewrite the script on what these negative emotions mean, so you can find the lessons and move on to creating more happiness, love & joy in your life as a mom.

As moms, we are the heart of the home. We set the emotional tone. There can be a lot of guilt and shame that comes when we aren’t setting the emotional tone - many moms think that yelling means they’re a bad mom, or that they’re broken. Not only is this not true, but Megan gives us some powerful reframes for these AND shares with us the real reason that we yell. (& what to do about it!)
Listen in for a real, heartfelt discussion around yelling less and being more of the kind and calm mom you want to be.

There are certain relationships, experiences, mindsets, and more, that the happiest moms have. Listen in to find which ones you’re currently missing so you can implement those changes and become the happiest mom you can be.
**Note: An important thing to keep in mind as you listen, is that happier does not equal better. Sometimes we equate this work with our self worth, and I want to remind you that these are not one in the same. You are worthy whether you are happy and enjoy your life or not - the only reason to become happier is if you want to have a different experience of your life.
