I don’t know what God has in store for me, but I do know that I was created for a purpose and I feel a calling brewing inside of me. I was created with a unique role to play in God’s plan and it’s time for me to accept the role of servant. I really wish I knew how all of this was going to look when it’s said and done, but I trust that God knows and he will guide me there so long as I’m willing to listen. My name is Jason and this is my mission!
Have you ever read your Bible, understood it, and still felt nothing change in your life? I sat down with Reverend Kimberly Braxton, a speaker, teacher, and ordained minister based in Boston, who has lived that question from the inside out. We talk about what happens when ministry becomes a performance, when seminary knowledge crowds out the Holy Spirit, and why pride is so much harder to see in yourself than you think. Rev. Kim opens up about her own journey through burnout, backsliding, and the moment God broke through everything she had built up, using just a single verse from Galatians 3:3. If you've been working hard for God and still feel stuck in the same place, this conversation is for you.

In this episode, I sit down with Rebekah Van Natta, author of The Growing Christian: Two Paths of the Christian Belief, to explore a question that stops a lot of believers in their tracks: what is the difference between believing in God and truly following him? Rebekah grew up in church, never doubted God's existence, and still found herself living almost entirely on her own terms. Her turning point wasn't dramatic. It was a quiet moment of surrender that began with a conviction about her workout playlist and led to a complete identity shift. We talk about grief, the cost of following Jesus, what it means to choose the narrow road every single day, and how Jeremiah 29:11 speaks to the seasons of exile that often precede real transformation. If you've ever felt like something was missing in your faith, I think this conversation will name it.

In this episode, I take on one of the most heated debates inside the church — young earth creationism versus old earth creationism — and try to do something that does not happen nearly enough: lay out both positions fairly. I walk through what each view actually claims, survey where the major Christian denominations land, and then answer the question that really matters. Does what you believe about the age of the earth affect your salvation? Drawing from 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, Romans 10:9, and Ephesians 2:8–9, the answer is clear. And it might just change how you hold this conversation the next time it comes up.

In this episode, I tackle one of the stranger cultural conversations of our time: what should Christians think about UAPs and the question of alien life? With the government confirming things in our airspace that nobody can explain, and Christians all over the map on what it means, I thought it was time to stop avoiding it. I look at what the government has actually confirmed, honestly examine whether UAPs could be demonic, and sit with what Scripture does and does not say about life beyond Earth. Most importantly, I want to leave you with three things: wonder, discernment, and a solid anchor. This one is meant to be fun, but I think you will find it grounding too. Come join me.

Why are so many people deeply unhappy, even when they have everything they ever wanted? In this episode, I explore what the research is telling us about America's growing unhappiness crisis, what Solomon discovered after running the most ambitious experiment in human satisfaction ever attempted, and what Jesus offered a thirsty woman at a well in Samaria that changed everything. Drawing on Ecclesiastes, Isaiah 55, and John 4, I unpack why the things we chase keep leaving us empty, and what it actually looks like to find the living water Jesus promised. If you have ever felt that restless ache underneath a life that looks fine on the outside, this one is for you.

America was founded on prayer, but somewhere between 1776 and today, the Church seems to have quietly set that down. In this episode, I look at what the founders actually did before every major act of the founding, what Scripture says about interceding for the nation you live in, and why passages like Daniel 9, Jeremiah 29:7, and 2 Chronicles 7:14 are more relevant right now than most of us realize. I also walk through what that famous verse from 2 Chronicles really means in context, because the context changes everything. If you've ever felt like America is slipping and wondered what you can actually do about it, this one is for you. I hope it moves you to your knees.

In this episode, I sit down with Pastor Sheldon Lee Stovall, a pastor, licensed counselor, and author who has built his ministry at the crossroads of scripture and mental health. Sheldon opens up about losing his brother and the grief and depression that followed, and what that season taught him about God's care for our emotional lives. We talk about why Christians shouldn't hide their pain, how faith and professional help can work together, and why the church needs to take mental health seriously.
The conversation also goes somewhere unexpected, into the Holy Spirit being sidelined in today's church, Matthew 24 and the times we're living in, and how Ephesians 1:13 reminds us who we belong to. Whether you're walking through grief, anxiety, or a season that feels too heavy to carry, this one is for you.

In this episode, I sit down with Kim Harms, a two-time breast cancer survivor, speaker, and author of Carried Through Cancer: 70 Days of Spiritual Strength from Cancer Fighters, Survivors and Caregivers. Kim was first diagnosed in 2016 and again in 2023, and rather than letting that story stay in silence, she has spent the last decade turning her pain into something that points others to Christ. We talk about what it really looks like to trust God when He doesn't take the hard thing away, how the Psalms of Lament helped her find an honest relationship with God, and why her anchor verse, 1 Peter 5:10, carried her through two rounds of chemotherapy. Kim also shares the heart behind her book and why she believes hope is not the absence of suffering, but what you find right in the middle of it. This one will stay with you.

In this episode, I want to talk to anyone who said yes to Jesus and then woke up the next morning wondering if anything really changed. That quiet question (why don't I feel different?) is one of the most common things new believers wrestle with, and I think the church has done a poor job of answering it. So I walk through what actually happened at salvation, why feelings are not a reliable measuring stick for your relationship with God, and what spiritual growth really looks like when it shows up in ordinary life. We spend time in 2 Corinthians 5, Philippians 1, and 1 Peter 2, along with some honest, practical steps for growing when you cannot feel a thing. If you are new in your faith, or walking with someone who is, this one is for you.

In this episode, I sit down with a question many Christians are afraid to ask out loud: when is it time to step back from a friendship with someone whose influence is pulling you away from Christ? I work through 2 Corinthians 6:14, Matthew 18:15–17, and Proverbs 4:23 to build a biblical framework for one of the hardest relational decisions a believer can face. We talk about the difference between love and unlimited access, the warning signs that a relationship has crossed a line, and what it looks like to walk away with grace while still leaving the door unlocked. If you have ever wrestled with guilt over creating distance, this conversation is for you.

In this episode, I sit down with Stephen Landis, a Christian poet and author from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and founder of Dust Bunny Poetry, for a deeply honest conversation about what it means to use the creative gifts God has placed in us. Stephen shares his faith journey, from rededication at sixteen to a defining moment at nineteen when the truth of Ephesians 2:8-9 anchored him in grace over works, and how that foundation now fuels everything he writes. We talk about the courage it takes to create for God's glory, the beauty of wrestling with calling, and why stewardship of your gifts is an act of obedience.
Stephen's story is a reminder that God doesn't call the polished or the finished. He calls the willing. Whether you are an artist, a teacher, a parent, or a podcaster, this conversation will stir you to pick up what God has placed in your hands and trust Him with where it goes. You can find Stephen's work, including his award-winning collection Grace and Other Poems, at https://dustbunnypoems.online. What if the miracle you have been waiting for already happened, and you slept right through it? In this episode, I want to invite you to slow down and look at your everyday life through the lens of Scripture. We explore what I call miracle blindness, the quiet spiritual nearsightedness that causes so many of us to miss God's constant presence in ordinary moments. From Elijah's still small voice in 1 Kings 19 to Jeremiah's stunning declaration of new mercy in Lamentations 3, the Bible consistently shows us a God who loves to show up in the small and the simple.
We also dig into Romans 1:20, Matthew 6:26, and the surprising story of the ten lepers to uncover how gratitude is not just a feeling but a spiritual discipline that trains your eyes to recognize what God is already doing around you. If your faith has felt more transactional than relational lately, this episode is for you. Join me and let's go find God in the ordinary together.

In this episode, I sit down with author, publisher, and co-founder of Skinny Brown Dog Media, Eric Reid, for an honest and deeply personal conversation about what happens when faithful people quietly drift from abiding in Jesus to performing for Him. Eric shares from his own story of confusing closeness to God with usefulness to God, and how Jesus has been reforming him around something better: presence over performance, hiddenness over recognition, and faithfulness over followers. We dig into John 15:5, where Jesus reminds us that apart from Him we can do nothing, and we sit with the invitation of Matthew 11:28 to come to Him when we are weary and burdened.
If you have ever loved Jesus and still felt exhausted by your own faith, this conversation is for you. Eric brings the kind of honest, Scripture-rooted reflection that will help you recognize the drift, return to the vine, and take one step back toward simply abiding. I believe this episode will reach you right where you are. Come listen in.

In this episode, I explore one of the most important questions in all of Scripture: why did forgiveness require blood? Before the cross, God established a sacrificial system that taught His people something profound about the weight of sin and the cost of atonement. Drawing from Leviticus 17:11, Hebrews 9 and 10, and Romans 6:23, I walk through what God was communicating through animal sacrifice, why it was an act of mercy rather than cruelty, and how every offering pointed forward to the one perfect sacrifice that was coming.
If the cross has ever felt like a tragic ending rather than a triumphant fulfillment, this episode is for you. Understanding the altar changes everything about how we see Calvary. I hope this conversation deepens your gratitude for what Jesus accomplished and helps you hear those three words, "It is finished," with the full weight they deserve. Join me for this one.

In this episode, I sit down with Lindsey Tanoff, a brand manager from the Dallas-Fort Worth area who turned a season of grief and uncertainty into something beautiful. When her mother was diagnosed with cancer, Lindsey found herself turning to Scripture for answers, and that search eventually led her to write Connected, a 28-day devotional designed to help everyday believers build a meaningful habit of spending time in God's word.
We talk about what it looks like to drift away from faith, how to find your way back, and why Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith truly does come from hearing the word. Lindsey's story is a reminder that you do not need a seminary degree or a big platform to share the gospel. You just need a willing heart. Tune in and be encouraged.

John shares his remarkable journey from a violent home in the mountains of West Virginia to a life transformed by faith, and unpacks how unresolved trauma silently shapes our relationships, identity, and mental health. Anchored in Romans 8:28 and the life-giving promises of Jeremiah 29:11, this conversation beautifully connects the science of trauma with the healing power of God's Word.
Whether you are a survivor yourself, someone who loves a person carrying invisible wounds, or a pastor or counselor seeking deeper understanding, this episode offers language, hope, and truth. In this episode, I sit down with Canadian author, lay pastor, and bible study leader Doralyn Moore for a conversation that truly filled my heart. Doralyn has walked with Jesus for over seventy years, and the wisdom she carries is the kind that only comes from a lifetime of trusting God through both joy and grief. We talk about what it looks like to hold onto God's promises when circumstances seem to scream otherwise, how personal testimony is one of the most powerful tools we have for sharing our faith, and why forgiveness, rooted in Matthew 18:22, is as much about our own freedom as it is about the other person.
Doralyn also shares the heart behind her four Christian fiction novels, stories that tackle real and difficult life situations and point every broken character back toward redemption. Whether you are brand new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for decades, this conversation is a beautiful reminder that God's promises never fail and He is working even in the waiting. I hope you'll pull up a chair and join us.

It is actually where faith grows the deepest.

The Book of Acts ends in a surprising way, without a clear ending. But that unfinished conclusion reveals something powerful: the mission of Jesus didn’t stop with the apostles. In this episode of My Ministry Mission, Jason explores how the story that began in Acts continues today through the work of the Holy Spirit and the lives of everyday believers. Anchored in Acts 1:8 (NIV) and Matthew 28:18–20 (NIV), we look at the mission Jesus gave His Church and how the Gospel has continued to move across the world for nearly two thousand years.
What does that mission look like for us today? This episode connects the story of the early Church to our modern lives, reminding us that every believer is called to be a witness for Christ in their everyday world. If you’ve ever wondered how your faith fits into God’s bigger plan, this conversation will encourage and challenge you. Tune in and discover how you are part of the next chapter of Acts.

In this episode of My Ministry Mission, Jason walks through one of the most dramatic moments in the Book of Acts as Paul journeys toward Rome in Acts 27–28. What begins as a prison transfer turns into a powerful story of storms, shipwreck, unexpected ministry, and the unstoppable mission of God. Even when the ship breaks apart and Paul arrives in chains, the promise of God stands firm. Together we explore how the Lord’s sovereignty is revealed in the middle of chaos and how Paul’s faith anchors everyone around him when hope seems lost.
this episode reminds us that storms cannot cancel God’s purposes. Whether you’re navigating uncertainty, waiting on God’s timing, or wondering how He is working through difficult seasons, this conversation offers encouragement and perspective for everyday faith. Join Jason as we see how the Gospel kept moving forward, even through storms, and discover what that means for our lives today.

In this episode, we explore Acts 25:1–26:32 and Paul’s bold defense of the Christian faith before Roman Governor Festus and King Agrippa. Standing in chains, Paul proclaims the resurrection of Jesus Christ with clarity, courage, and compassion, showing us what it means to share the Gospel confidently, even before powerful and skeptical audiences.
Discover how Paul’s appeal to Caesar fulfilled God’s sovereign plan, why the resurrection is central to the Christian faith, and what it means to be “almost persuaded” like Agrippa. This episode unpacks themes of bold proclamation, personal testimony, obedience under pressure, and the Gospel confronting political and cultural power.
If you’ve ever wondered how to share your faith in hostile environments, secular workplaces, or skeptical conversations, this teaching will equip and encourage you to stand firm in truth.

This episode will walk through Paul’s Third Missionary Journey in the book of Acts, focusing on his powerful ministry in Ephesus and the road that ultimately leads him to Jerusalem. Together, we explore Acts 19:1–21:17 and see how spiritual warfare, deep discipleship, and unwavering perseverance shaped both Paul’s mission and the early church.
We'll highlight why Christianity is more than a one-time decision, it’s a lifelong process of formation. From confronting idols and false teaching to pouring into leaders and embracing obedience even when it’s costly, Paul’s journey challenges us to invest in others for lasting Kingdom impact. Whether you’re a new believer or a seasoned follower of Christ, this episode will encourage you to stand firm, grow deeper, and trust God’s purpose through every season of the journey.

In this episode, I walk through Paul’s Second Missionary Journey and explore how God advances the gospel through closed doors, unexpected people, and Spirit-led redirection. From Timothy joining the mission, to a vision that carries the gospel into Europe, to quiet conversions by a riverbank and worship in a prison at midnight, this journey shows us that God’s plans are often bigger, and stranger, than anything we would design ourselves. Along the way, we encounter Lydia, the Philippian jailer, skeptical philosophers in Athens, and faithful believers who shape the future of the church in ways that rarely make headlines.
This episode is an invitation to trust God when clarity is lacking and obedience feels costly. As I trace the gospel’s movement through Philippi, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, and Corinth, I reflect on how God still works today, using ordinary people, uncomfortable interruptions, and unseen faithfulness to accomplish His purposes. If you’ve ever wondered whether closed doors mean failure or if God can really use your small, faithful steps, this episode will encourage you to walk by faith and trust the Spirit’s leading.

In this episode I will walk through Acts 15, a pivotal moment in church history, the Council at Jerusalem. This wasn’t just a disagreement over tradition; it was a defining moment where the gospel itself was clarified. Together, we explore the tension between grace and legalism, asking the same question the early church had to face: Is faith in Jesus enough, or do we add rules to salvation?
I unpack Peter’s testimony, Paul and Barnabas’ missionary evidence, and James’ Scripture-anchored wisdom to show how the early church defended truth without weaponizing it. This episode speaks directly to modern believers navigating rules versus relationship, church division, and questions of unity. If you’ve ever wondered how to stand firm in truth while extending grace, or how God’s mission continues even through conflict, this conversation will encourage, challenge, and clarify the freedom we have in Christ.

In this episode I walk through Paul and Barnabas’ first missionary journey in Acts chapters 13 and 14, exploring how the early church carried the gospel into hostile and unfamiliar territory. We see evangelism in action, powerful miracles that confirm God’s message, and intense opposition that fails to stop the work of the Holy Spirit.
This journey reminds us that faithfulness matters more than results and that God often uses ordinary believers to accomplish eternal purposes. From Antioch to Cyprus, Iconium, Lystra, and back again, this episode shows how the gospel advances through obedience, perseverance, and God’s grace, no matter the hardship. If you’re navigating resistance, discouragement, or questions about your calling, this study will encourage you to trust that God is still opening doors of faith today.

As we step into a new year, I want to invite you into a conversation about new beginnings rooted in God’s faithfulness instead of our self-effort. In this episode, I seek to explore what it truly means to start fresh in Christ by embracing a new identity, leaving the past where it belongs, and building spiritual rhythms instead of empty resolutions. Drawing from Scripture, I'll share how ongoing struggle can actually be evidence of real spiritual transformation. Whether you’re entering this year hopeful, weary, or uncertain, I pray this episode will encourage you to step forward in faith, trust God’s grace, and walk confidently in who He says you are in Christ.

My guest today is Frank Ravanelli, he is a storyteller at heart, a writer whose love for adventure and faith intertwine in his debut fantasy novel, Pages of The Aduir: Journey to the Peninsia Throne. It’s a tale of destiny, courage, and light rising out of darkness. But what makes his story truly inspiring isn’t just the pages he’s written, it’s the journey God led him through to write them. Frank’s testimony reminds us that the road to purpose often winds through suffering. Yet, it’s in those valleys that God refines us. Today, we’ll talk about how faith sustained Frank through hardship, how creativity became his act of worship, and what it truly means to take up your cross daily, even when life doesn’t go the way we planned.

In this Parable Project episode, we unpack the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant from Matthew 18:21-35. When Peter asks how many times we should forgive, Jesus answers with radical grace: “Not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” Together they explore what that means in a world that celebrates vengeance over mercy.
Drawing from cultural and historical context, commentaries, and practical insight, Laura and I reveal how this parable illustrates God’s limitless forgiveness and calls believers to reflect that same mercy toward others. We discuss Peter’s question, the king’s compassion, the servant’s hypocrisy, and the consequences of withholding forgiveness.

In this episode of My Ministry Mission, we dive into Acts 2:1–41 and explore the powerful story of Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit came like wind and fire, birthing the early Church. We walk through Peter’s bold sermon, the fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy, and the baptism of 3,000 souls who were “cut to the heart” by the Gospel. Discover the rich historical and cultural background of Pentecost, the theological significance of the Spirit being poured out on all people, and practical applications for living a Spirit-filled life today. Join us as we learn how the same Spirit that empowered ordinary disciples then is still empowering believers now to share Jesus boldly in our world.

In this first episode of our Acts of the Apostles series, we dive into the origins, authorship, and purpose of the book of Acts. Written by Luke as a continuation of his Gospel, Acts takes us from the ascension of Jesus to the birth of the early Church and the unstoppable spread of the Gospel. Together we’ll explore Acts 1:1-8, where Jesus promises the Holy Spirit’s power and commissions His followers to be witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Discover the historical context of the Roman Empire, the challenges and controversies within the Jewish community, and how the mission of Acts is still unfolding in our world today. Join us as we unpack what it means to live as Spirit-empowered witnesses in 2025 and beyond.

In this deeply personal episode, I want to share the loss of my sister to breast cancer and the emotional journey that followed ... From grief and doubt, to anger at God, and ultimately to peace and hope through Christ. Together, we explore what it means to wrestle with the “why” when loss feels unfair, how to bring our raw emotions honestly before God, and how His presence can bring supernatural peace in the midst of sorrow. My hope is that this episode will offer encouragement for anyone walking through grief, reminding you that death is not the end, you are not alone, and that in Jesus, we have a hope that no loss can take away.

Today, we unpack the gravity of Jesus’ final appeal. He’s drawing a clear line between true and false prophets, authentic and hollow faith, solid rock and shifting sand. And as we dive into His closing words, we’ll be faced with the same question that echoed down that hillside 2,000 years ago: What will you do with what you’ve heard?

In Matthew 5:17–20, Jesus shifts focus. After calling His disciples to live distinctively, He anticipates a question—or perhaps even a criticism. If He’s redefining what it means to be blessed… if He’s challenging the religious norms of the day… is He setting aside the Law of Moses altogether? Is this a clean break from everything God has spoken before?

Today, we’re moving into the next few verses, where Jesus shifts from who we are becoming to how we are called to live in the world. Specifically, we’re going to focus on Matthew 5:13–16. In today’s culture, biblical gender roles are often misunderstood, sometimes even seen as outdated or oppressive, or even purposely twisted to paint the picture of malicious and sexist behavior. But is that what God really intended? Today, I want to explore what Scripture actually teaches about the roles of men and women in the home, we’ll address common misconceptions, and see how God’s design is both purposeful and beautiful.

As we live out our lives, we will face storms, but if we listen to the Holy Spirit, He will teach us how to get through those storms. He will direct us and tell us what to do so that we can deal with whatever we are facing. But the Holy Spirit only comes through our faith in Jesus Christ. This is illustrated in Matthew 14:22-33 with the story of Jesus walking on water, and we will talk about how it teaches us to trust Him even in the midst of life’s most challenging circumstances.

Let’s take a journey into those dark corners of ourselves where we are tempted to turn from the face of God in hopeless despair. What are the impacts of broken faith? And what is the path to recovery?

God has a plan for all of us, and sometimes that means we have to step away from long held traditions. My guest today is Yoel ben Yisrael, and he was once a member of the Watch Tower & Bible Tract Society, or commonly known as the Jehovah's Witness. But Yahweh presented Yoel with a beautiful testimonial, guiding him to leave what was familiar and pursue the Kingdom of Heaven.

In this episode of Unveiling Revelation, seven angels stand poised with grim faces and eyes blazing with divine purpose, each a holding bowl filled with a terrifying promise. As this divine storm breaks, amidst a sea of glass mingled with fire, are those who were victorious over the beasts, standing tall as a prelude of what’s to come.

In this episode I have the honor of hosting Ty Hervey who grew up in a Cowboy Church as a pastor’s son. He was saved at the age of 13, and then at 17 years old he surrendered his life to ministry and has been serving in a pastoral role ever since. Ty is also the host of the Venture Tabernacle podcast, which is a very rich and entertaining podcast designed to help us view the world through the objective lens of the Bible. Don't miss out on this fantastic conversation!

The beginning of this chapter is probably one of the most widely recognized in the book of Ecclesiastes, but today I’m going to show you there’s so much more to it, and how the feelings I’ve experienced really aren’t too far from how the author must have felt so long ago when these words were penned.

Our revelator, John, stands on the cusp of eternity, entrusted with scrolls and forebodings of great import. Seven trumpets herald forth, each unleashing a cascade of heavenly pronouncements and earthly upheavals. Meanwhile, two witnesses stand as divine sentinels, testifying amidst chaos and tribulation, their voices heard throughout the ages. Gather your courage and steel your resolve, for within these chapters we see the celestial meet the terrestrial.

Together with God's guidance, we can navigate this complex topic and hopefully provide meaningful answers!

We’ve stepped across the threshold to start this journey around the sun yet again, welcome to 2023! As an old year fades to black and a new year comes into focus, I do have a few questions as a Christian … What should we consider for this new year? Should we make any resolutions? If so, what should they be? What’s important to consider on a spiritual level? I hope to bring some clarity to these questions, so maybe you and I can step into this new year with new passion, new inspiration, and a renewed love for God.

I’ve given this episode the title of “Peace be with you,” a phrase that Jesus used when he first appeared to his disciples after his resurrection. What does this actually mean and how does it impact you? Those are just a couple of the questions I try to answer in this episode as we discuss dealing with our worldly stress and finding peace through Godly means.

I received a request to do another unsung heroes of the bible episode, specifically on Dorcas also known as Tabitha. In just seven versus Luke honors this loved woman and shows us a miracle that leads others to believe. In this short story we see praise, humor, honor, sadness, joy and a view into the beauty of faith in the early Church.

In this episode we will continue the conversation about unsung heroes of the bible. This time we’ll go over Abigail form 1 Samuel 25 and learn about this amazing woman… as well as her dreadful husband, Nabal. During this episode, I’ll talk about how her humility saved Nabal from the wrath of David, but more importantly how Abigail saved David from his own sin … and how God takes care of injustice in his own way.

I really enjoyed the previous episode I did as a first in a series of unsung heroes of the Bible, a series I’m dedicating to brining some attention to the people who showed extraordinary faith but rarely get talked about. In this episode, I’m going to talk a little bit about another unsung hero, a man named Ananias who was an ordinary man who God called upon to be the catalyst of an extraordinary conversion story.
References to Bible Verses
Luke 1:3; Acts 1:1; Acts 22:3-4; Acts 7:58-60; Acts 8:3; 1 Timothy 1:12-15; Acts 9:1-9; Acts 9:11-12; Acts 9:13-14; Acts 9:15-16; Acts 9:17-18; Acts 13:9
When we think about heroes in the bible, who comes to mind? David? Moses? Noah? Maybe Paul in the new Testament? Jesus? There are a lot of great heroes in the bible, but some of them are not quite as well known, so I thought it would be fun to start a series on some of the unsung heroes of the bible. In this episode I’ll discuss the feeding of the 5,000 and more specifically the boy who brought the bread and fish. You can find this is a story in all four books of the Gospels: John 6, Matthew 14, Mark 6, and Luke 9.

Being new to Christianity can be a little overwhelming, so I started to think about some of the challenges I ran into understanding what it means to be a Christian like God’s love & forgiveness, The Great Commandment vs The Great Commission, How Christianity changes us, and how to pray. So in this episode, I’ll share a little bit of what I’ve learned. If you’re new to Christianity, or even if you’ve been a Christian all your life, I hope this episode will be insightful and relevant to your journey and God’s mission for you.

The Holy Trinity as a whole is still a bit confusing to me, each is a distinct person of God, but they are all God, but there is only one God yet there are the three. It’s enough to make your head spin! I doubt I’ll be able to make complete sense of it considering scholars have been trying to far longer than I’ve been alive. However, I wanted to take one part of the trinity and spend a little time trying to bring a little more clarity to the topic. In this episode, I will focus on the Holy Spirit and share with you what I’ve learned from my own humble research, and maybe we can come to a little more clarity on the topic.

Thank you for joining me on this maiden voyage of My Ministry Mission. Today I’m rolling out a new podcast that will first and foremost be dedicated to the glory of God and our savior Jesus Christ, but I also want to share my journey learning what it means to be a disciple of Christ and growing into this new life. I hope that one day I can eventually enter into ministry and maybe even become a full-time pastor.

My Ministry Mission is about this man’s journey from non-believer to Disciple of Christ. I look for topics that have been a challenge for me to understand as a Christian new in his faith. I invite you to join me as I try to tackle some of these questions and whether you’re newly saved or have been a Christ follower all your life, my hope is for this podcast to inspire, challenge, and educate you and hopefully bring some clarity to those difficult topics. God has placed a calling in my heart, and I want to answer that call!
