In this episode, we discuss about languages by identifying our mother tongue and native language. From there, we explore whether they bring chaos or actually beneficial to us individually 🌦🌀

M: The limited of my language means the limits of my world.

We're still in the self-discovery era here. One thing that we both have in common is that we're the first born in the family. Famously known as the guinea pig at times, even acting as the substitute parent (aka guardian) when needed. This episode is especially slightly more personal for Josephine..

Personal notes from us:

  • Shout out to all parents, we'd like to pour you a glass of sake to salute you for your dedication and sacrifices to raise your offspring(s) 🍢

  • To all the first child, stand tall and speak up if necessary but do it in a way that you still show respect to your parents and younger siblings πŸ˜‡

WE ARE BACK with Season 2! We've chosen self-discovery as our main topic for this new season! As a start, we decided to do a quick reflection (revisiting our fifth episode from Season 1, where we each challenged the other person with a special task/mission) and caught up how these past 6 months had been for each of us. We observe and discuss if there are any changes in our perceptions of life over the years. And if time travel does exist and we got the opportunity to meet our 16 yo self, what advice do we give to her? πŸ˜†

Our fave QODs for this episode:

J: "Choose to be patient. Choose to be consistent. Choose to look adversity in the eyes and keep moving forward with courage, integrity and love."

M: "If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
