In this world there are as many opinions as there are people, and more. The un_honorable woman holds conversations that activate our minds and allow us to tune into ourselves in a way that helps us better serve those around us. We've decided that the clearer we are on ourselves, the more exciting and productive our lives become in the direction we best desire, and the more honest and loving we start to become when handling our pain and hard times. We believe that a better world is a place where people talk more openly. So why not join the conversation?
This Friday we decided to let the conversation take its own course without a desired outcome. We often find when we simply discuss the episode the real juice of it comes out— so here it is, the rawness of life, of this week, of how things unfolded for us. We are sharing this because we believe these types of conversations matter. We’re so glad you’re here and joining the conversation!
Here are a few tools we use to redirect the energy when we find ourselves in hard spaces, places, or conversations. We find that when we use these tools we often experience a positive shift in mindset and are able to reframe the situation with greater ease.
Tara and Lori explore moving into the fruitfulness of putting growth and presence ahead of goals and outcomes at the start if 2022. Less resolutions and more practices.
Tara discusses moving through fear and setting healthy boundaries and Lori talks about 'Power Hour' Mind/Body/Soul morning routine! Ep. 4 dives into pro-active boundary setting where instead of taking away from our lives we step into abundance by activating the things that set us free. We explore practical ways to set boundaries and what it feels like to know what thoughts benefit us and what thoughts don't.
Burnout is real, but burnout is also beatable. In this episode of the un_honorable woman podcast we tackle the idea of burnout and how establishing close boundaries with ourselves can lead us to make better decisions about our workload in the future. We also talk about how boundaries are sometimes established only after the 'hard things' meaning there is a lot to harness from the difficult times in our lives. Tune in and join the conversation.
We explore the power of prioritising ourselves first in our love, whether it's familial, platonic, or intimate. We ask the questions that allow us to find where the access points are into the truest versions of ourselves. What is love? How does love grow and change as we do? Why do we find it hard to ask for what we want and need? How do we begin to know and feel what it is we want and need? We acknowledge how we all give and receive love differently, and discuss how we can work with these differences to grow within ourselves and our relationships.
What is society? It is a law? Opinion? Collective of agreeing opinions we feel we need to agree with? Ep. 1 addresses the nature of finding ourselves in a world that often prescribes who we need to be in order to succeed. Join the conversation as we tackle the limits of society and find who we are beyond them.
Welcome to the conversation where we introduce who we are, why we're doing this, and what inspired the un_honorable woman.
