The work of God often requires incredible stewardship by the people of God. Nehemiah demands and displays the type of stewardship the Lord expects.
Nehemiah’s rebuild required groundwork to be laid: he had to assess, be humble in brokenness, and turn to the Lord in prayer.

As Jesus concludes his final exhortation to His disciples, He turns to the Father in prayer. The primary concerns of Jesus are His and the Father’s glory, His disciples, and the church.

As Jesus continues to develop His disciples in these last moments together, He draws their attention to the eternal nature of what will be accomplished through the cross.
Even though it is a spiritual dark time, Jesus develops His disciples has he explains the coming events and gives them instruction on how they will endure.

God has a plan for every broken situation and every vulnerable child. He works to bring redemption from brokenness.
