Clint Malarchuk, a native of Grande Prairie, Alberta played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League. He went on to play in the NHL for the Quebec Nordiques, the Washington Capitals, and the Buffalo Sabres, and in the IHL for the Las Vegas Thunder.
In 1987 Clint was a named to the NHL All-Star team and 1989 was the recipient of the Punch Imlack award for leadership and dedication to the game of hockey. After his career as a player, he served as head coach of the IHL Las Vegas Thunder and the Idaho Steelheads. He was then a goaltending coach for the NHL Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Atlanta Thrashers, and Calgary Flames.
After surviving a suicide attempt in 2008, Clint recovered physically, mentally and emotionally to become a Mental Health Advocate and renowned Professional Speaker on Mental Health and his journey living with OCD, PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.
His memoir, A Matter of Inches: How I Survived in the Crease and Beyond, was published in 2014. This has given him a platform to help raise awareness for Mental Health. He is currently a Professional Speaker.

An iconic athlete, author, Emmy-award winning broadcaster and advocate for sports and social causes, Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to officially register and run the Boston Marathon in 1967.
She was attacked in the race by an angry official who tried to rip off her bib number (#261) and throw her out of the race because she was a woman. She finished the 26.2 mile distance anyway and went on win the 1974 New York City Marathon and to champion women in the sport globally, most notably leading the drive to make the women's marathon an official Olympic event in 1984.
Now, 58% of all runners in the USA are women. To celebrate this social revolution, and to support another on active aging, Switzer ran the Boston Marathon again, at age 70, on the 50th anniversary of her iconic run, finishing only 24 minutes slower than she did when she was 20.
This run launched her non-profit '261 Fearless' --named after that famous bib number--which empowers women globally though running. She has been honored widely for her achievements including being inducted into the USA National Women’s Hall of Fame which recognized her for creating positive social change throughout her storied career.

Following a 15-year career with the New York Rangers where he was a three-time NHL All-Star and Stanley Cup Champion and Olympic Medalist, Mike Richter went on to receive his degree in Ethics, Politics and Economics with a concentration in Environmental Politics from Yale University.
He has become a key spokesperson for environmental issues, such as resource efficiency and climate change. He speaks frequently about environmental regulations and public policy before many audiences, including The U.S. Senate Special Committee on the Climate Crises. Throughout the past decade, Richter served on boards of the Sierra Club Foundation, The Nature Conservancy and Riverkeepers.

With an outstanding track record in leading, innovating and collaborating Katrina Adams is a woman of many firsts. The first African American to lead the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the first two term Chairman and President (2015-2018) of said organization and the first former player to hold that honor.
As the youngest person to hold the responsibility of $300 million+ revenue while representing excellence in sport, Adams has showcased her ability to impact, influence and make sound business decisions while navigating a plethora of moving parts and 700,000+ members.
Under her tutelage the USTA achieved a number of major milestones, including the opening of the 100 court USTA National Campus in Orlando, the strategic transformation of the $600 million USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. and an unprecedented outreach effort into underserved communities in an effort to share the sport of tennis with more people.
Having attended Northwestern University and led her team to a Big Ten Championship in 1986 and partnered with Diane Donnelly to win the 1987 NCAA Doubles Championship, Adams learned early on, the importance of teamwork.
A familiar face in sports commentary, as a professional player Adams competed for 12 years on the WTA Tour, winning 20 career doubles titles and reaching the quarterfinals or better in doubles at all four Grand Slam events. By operating at the highest level in sport and business she has been able to lead successive boards in setting clearly defined strategies to further the organizations’ missions and ensure that management are afforded the tools needed to execute and excel.
Adams’ sheer determination and hard work in tennis, leadership and philanthropy has earned her many accolades including: being named on Adweek magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in Sports” list twice (2016 and 2017), Forbes magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in Sports” list in 2017 and Ebony magazine’s “Power 100” list.
As vice president of the prestigious International Tennis Federation, Chairman of the Billie Jean King Cup Committee, Chairman of the Gender Equality in Tennis Committee, Executive Board member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and the Executive Director of the Harlem Junior Tennis and Education Program, Adams believes this is just the beginning.
She has branched into the private sector as a Board member and Audit Committee Chair, of Pivotal Acquisition Corp III, Board Member of GSE Worldwide and as an Advisory Board Member of Athletes Unlimited, Full Court Tennis and Highlight Pro Skydiving Team. In addition, she is a Nominating Committee Member of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority.
A native of Chicago, Adams lives in Yonkers, New York. Her maiden novel “Own the Arena” was published by Harper Collins Publishers, Amistad Books, in 2021.

Nancy Hogshead-Makar is an Olympic champion, a civil rights lawyer, and the founder and CEO of Champion Women, a non-profit providing legal advocacy for girls and women in sports.
In her first career, Nancy capped eight years as a world class swimmer at the 1984 Olympics, where she won three gold medals and one silver medal. Through her high school and collegiate careers, she was undefeated in dual meets.
Major awards include the Nathan Mallison Award, given to Florida’s outstanding athlete, and the prestigious Kiphuth Award, given to America’s best all-around swimmer nationally. Sports Illustrated ranked her as Florida’s 13th greatest athlete of the 20th Century, and Florida’s 3rd greatest woman athlete. She has been inducted into eleven different sports halls of fames, including the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the International Women’s Sports Hall of Fame.
As part of a successful second career, she was recently appointed to a Congressional Commission on the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee by Senator Maria Cantwell. The Commission will examine the Olympic Movement and recommend changes to Congress. She has led a ten-year effort to protect athletes from sexual abuse in club and Olympic sports, that is, sport not associated with schools.
She is co-Chair of the Committee to Restore Integrity to the USOPC, or “Team Integrity” where she galvanized the sport, child protection, and civil rights communities in support of a new federal law, the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and SafeSport Authorization Act, signed into law inFebruary 2018, and the Empowering Olympians, Para-Olympians and Amateur Athletes Act of 2020.
Along with her husband Scott Makar, a judge on Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, they have a son and twin daughters. They are continuously restoring their 1920s Mediterranean home.

Chip Hale is currently the head baseball coach at the University of Arizona.
During his decade and a half in Major League Baseball, Hale's most notable stop was as the manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2015-16. While leading the D-backs he compiled nearly 150 wins and steered the performances of All-Stars Paul Goldschmidt and A.J. Pollock. In his first season in Phoenix in 2015, the D-backs finished among the top three teams in the National League in batting average, runs, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, stolen bases, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage.
Following his stint with Diamondbacks, Hale spent three years serving as the Washington Nationals bench coach from 2018-20. His time in the nation's capital was highlighted by a 2019 World Series Championship, the franchise's first title.
Over the course of his Major League coaching career, Hale has helped guide the development of Bryce Harper, Juan Soto, Trea Turner, Anthony Rendon, Matt Chapman, Paul Goldschmidt, Zack Greinke, Josh Donaldson, Dan Haren, Justin Upton, and many more.
Hale got his coaching start in professional baseball with the Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders, where he served as the club's skipper from 2004-06. His stint in the minors culminated with the wildly successful 2006 campaign in which the Sidewinders went 91-53 and won the Pacific Coast League, earning Hale PCL Manager of the Year honors.
In his four-year career for the Wildcats, the legendary infielder picked up a 1986 NCAA National Championship, 1987 Pac-10 South Player of the Year honors, First Team All-Pac-10 South recognition, and the 1987 Tom Hansen Medal. To this day he still holds Arizona career records with 255 games played, 978 at-bats, 337 hits, 162 walks, and 507 total bases. Hale was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1994.
Following his standout collegiate career, Hale was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 17th round of the 1987 MLB Draft. He went on to enjoy a seven-year Major League career with the Twins and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Chip currently resides in Tucson with his wife, Judi; together they have three children, Jack, Edward, and Sabrina, and one granddaughter, Palmer.

Ron Swoboda was a major league baseball player know forgetting clutch hits, being a great teammate and establishing a special bond with the fan base that followed him. An excellent hitter who helped led an improbable group to a storied championship, he made a play on the biggest stage, in the best baseball city in the world which became legendary and did as much to win that title as any play in that Series. Affable, beloved, personable and caring, he then went onto become a much respected sportscaster in three major markets. A New York legend!

Willie Banks is a member of the US National Track & Field Hall of Fame.
He is currently the President of HSJ, Incorporated, a sports management and consulting firm that specializes in marketing and networking between the US and Japan. HSJ, Inc. provides its clients with value-added skills and experience for events and sports organizations.
Currently, HSJ, Inc. is the Japanese “Master Distributor” for Fieldturf Tarkett Incorporated, an artificial grass manufacturer. Fieldturf is used for sports stadiums like Giants Stadium, Ford Field, and the Tokyo Dome. As the Master Distributor, Willie manages the sales, installation and maintenance of Field Turf in Japan and Taiwan. As a result of his understanding of the Japanese culture he successfully negotiated with companies like Kawasaki Frontale Soccer team (a J-League team), Tokyo Giants baseball team and the Mitsubishi Sports Club. In addition, while consulting for Dentsu, Japan’s largest advertising and marketing company, Willie introduced Japan to the concept of “naming rights” for stadiums, raising hundreds of millions in revenue.
For many years Willie has assisted cities bidding for international events like the Olympic Games. He has served as the Deputy Executive Director for the 1994 World Cup of soccer and the Director of Athlete Services for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Village. He is famous throughout the world and has represented his country in many ways. Taking note of Willie’s international popularity and outstanding personal character and leadership qualities, Time Magazine once dubbed him “The United States’ ambassador of track and field”.
Though Willie is a former world record holder and Olympian, much of his fame comes from his innovative approach to sports. Willie entertained the crowd and in response the spectators rhythmically clapped while he ran down the runway for his jump. It became so popular that it set a tradition that is mimicked throughout the world to this day.
Willie is a leader. In 2019, Willie was elected Council member to World Athletics, the international federation responsible for the sport of track and field (athletics). He recently sat on the World Olympians Association Executive Committee. He is past-President of the US Olympians. He is a member of the Board of Director for USA Track and Field, 1988 Olympic Team Captain, USATF Alumni President and past chairman of the USATF Athletes Advisory Committee. While working on the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games the Martin Luther King, Jr. Women’s Association awarded Willie with their “Drum Major for Justice” award given to that individual who exemplifies a positive leadership image. During a critical time for US cycling, Willie raised funds to revitalize the Olympic Velodrome in Los Angeles and started the Southern California Velodrome Association which managed both the Olympic and San Diego velodromes.
Willie has written many articles for major publications around the world about subjects ranging from training methods to legal principals. He has given more than 500 speeches in his lifetime to a wide variety of audiences including more than 50 speeches in Japanese. In fact, Willie is an increasingly sought-after speaker for his ability to tailor his speech to his audience and engage them with his wit and charm. Some of the companies that have utilized Willie in personal appearances and speeches include IBM, Georgia Power, BellSouth, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Transamerica, Vons, Minute Maid, and Adidas to name just a few.
