God has grown Graves Into Gardens in Ana Luisa's life. Through the Word, God has restored her maternal instincts and put a desire of Godly family in her heart, which she is now in preparation for.

How we met:
Ana Luisa reached out to me through IG when I lived in Lisbon, said she found me through Freedom City Church' followers, and she said she would love to meet when moving there. Low and behold, I'm attending a Family Dinner (19 different hosts and locations), and Ana Luisa and I get placed in the exact same Family Dinner on her first day in Lisbon. Wow! God is already working so powerfully in our friendship and one of the ways Ana Luisa wanted to contribute as she's got a heart for community, is share her Graves Into Gardens With God story..

Ana Luisa's story:
† Grew up in a home where her parents were divorced and she witnessed their relationship deteriorate, which created a fear that this also would be the case in her relationships.
† Knew she had an inborn desire to have children, always been very maternal and loved her dolls growing up, however, society conditioned her to toughen up and pursue the things of the world, leaving her empty.
† Defined herself as an atheist growing up, but acknowledged that there was something more, something spiritual. Looked down upon Christians, though, and saw it as "just another religion."
† In 2020 during Covid, she was in isolation and truly met evil, and by grace she could go on a work trip to south Australia that broaden everything for her.
† Coming back to Melbourne, she had a breakdown, and inevitably gave everything up, and moved.
† Went into healing from the parents’ divorce and loneliness, and she got a friend in new age who was full on into self healing, where she got to witness from the outside how her friend had a deep dissatisfaction and was on the self-help roller coaster. Ana Luisa tasted new age through yoga and mindfulness, but didn't go further.
† Saw a video of Milena Ciciotti that guided her to the Bible. She picked it up and read front to cover, everything just made sense and she definitely didn't find it boring, but rather illuminating.
One day she realized she didn't feel lost and alone anymore, her mind was tranquil.
† By the book of Hebrews, she was baptized.
† Started to crave Christian Community, and through faith, she made the move to Portugal - a deep longing she never had the courage to pursue until † Christ that allowed her to take a leap of faith and trust in the unknown.
† Is now transformed into a woman that have unshakable confidence in having a fulfilling and lasting marriage and full faith in the dream God has put in her of having a family.
† Currently developing a relationship with God as foundation before having a family and stewarding marriage and children.
