Doug and Charlie, two friends an ocean apart have made their fair share of friends online. Now, as self-proclaimed "socialites" of the internet, they have taken it upon themselves to "invest in their parasocial relationships" with none other... than a podcast. Every week, Doug and Charlie take time to catch up with one of their online friends, both old and new to discuss a range of topics. From fame adjacency, to music and entertainment, no stone will go left unturned on Parasocialites.
This week, in a last second audible, we catch up with your friend and ours, Rando. He's another friend we met on the internet and has a deep love and passion for professional wrestling. This week we are catching up and chopping it up with Euan. He can just barely be considered a guest but we catch up on what he's been up to for the last 5 months and talk about a plethora of topics. Doug had to leave mid-episode to be a father and Charlie didn't send him a full description for this episode so we're all going in blind together here!

He's another of our good friends from Discord who holds what some may consider some "prestigious" titles within the Discord universe. We talk about cooking, specifically Adrian's quest to make the best Ramen that Naruto himself would eat, as well as what it's like to hold the keys to large discord community. We discuss his plethora of projects around writing and music, including a deep dive into his newsletter "Stale Popcorn" where Kevin writes and reviews in his own words "the best bad movies". This week, we're chopping it up with professional podcast producer and comedian, Jelani Carter; also known to many in the Throwing Fits extended universe as "Producer Jay". We cover everything from what it's like producing podcasts for a living, the golden era of Youtube, Twitch streamers, and even get into some of the behind the scenes on how he got linked up with the Throwing Fits crew.
