*The ONLY FREE thing in this story was the donkey being led by JESUS.

Everything God says and does flows from the essence, from this statement. “He is LOVE’

God’s love is always aiming to help us conform to the image of Jesus.

Pruning, purifying, blessing, taking away. Every action by God leads us to that one word Love. We want God love to serve our own desires instead His desire for our life. Our will and not His. We must trust His process and His will.

Sometimes it comes in the form of pruning. We don’t always recognize that as love but it can feel like punishment, rejection, abandonment. We always thing increase but it can be decrease. He is trying to move us into a degree of maturity.

We must lean upon the word of God and remain hungry for the will of the Father as He is giving us His presence to understand his LOVE even deeper.

The Holy Spirit is always teaching us but we aren't always learning.
The disciples were blind to what Jesus was teaching them. Just like we can be blind when Jesus is trying to teach us.
Jesus says follow me meaning I am going to teach you how to live just like me.
Jesus made the disciples get into the boat in a manner like He was saying I know you heard what I've said and seen what I've done but now it's time for you to live it out. So they went into the boat and encountered the storm.
You can still be involved in a move of God but still not encounter Jesus and leave changed. That's why you can be acquainted with His deeds but not changed by His ways.
We must look to heaven when we are facing a hardened heart. God can heal the brokenness in your life. Focus on him and he will supply all your needs.

In this life we will experience some type of disappointment. A lot of times we surrender to that pain or betrayal and we never experience life and life more abundantly. When we experience this pain, we end up tolerating this.
What you tolerate you allow to exist. Don't allow it to have authority over your life.
Captivity has no place in the life of a believer. Jesus came to set the captives free.
Don't make excuses for your captivity.
If Jesus says I can be free indeed, I want to be free indeed.
Don't let that pain and betrayal to ever be the driving factor of your life. Let Jesus be Lord over every area of your life.
1 Peter 5:8 your adversary is a roaring lion seeking who he can devour. He's looking for a broken place in your life that you haven't surrendered to the hand of God.
The quality of your heart will determine the direction of your life.

A tree doesn't have to strive to bear fruit but it bears fruit out of the excess of life that abides on the inside of the tree. Out of the abundance of this life, it produces fruit. The fruit isn't for the tree but it is for those that come into contact with the tree.

We cannot settle for ankle deep water but God wants us to go so deep in Him that we have no choice but to swim.

Don't be focused on doing but instead be focused on being.

Many of us, like David, are fighting battles we were never meant to fight.
