Abimelek takes Sarah but God is like, yo she’s taken. But then Abimelek is like, they said they’re siblings though, please spare me! He returns Sarah and gives her and Abraham a lot of goodies in fear that God would punish him.
God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah with acid rain. Lot’s wife turns to salt. Lot’s daughters get pregnant.
Three visitors visit Abraham and Sarah. Sarah laughs when she hears she will have a son. Abraham please God to not destroy Sodom.
God makes a covenant with Abraham making circumcision mandatory. Abram and Sarai are renamed Abraham and Sarah. God foretells Isaac’s birth.
Lot is captured during a war and Abram rescues him and his stuff. Melchizedek blesses Abram.
Abram and Lot separate because their herdsmen keep fighting. Lot goes East while Abram settles in Canaan. God promises the breadth of the land and offspring as great as the number of dust.
Abram is called to leave his father's land to a different place God shows him. God tells him that he will bless his family. Abram and Sarai go through Egypt and Pharoah's family are plagued because he unknowingly takes Sarai as his wife.
God confuses the languages of the people and scatters them. There is also another lineage account from Shem to Abram. I apologize for the background noise; my dog was playing with her toy!
The account of Shem, Ham, and Japheth (Noah's sons)'s lineages. (The Japhethites, The Hamites, The Semites)
God talks about the rainbow and his covenant with all living things. Noah is naked and Shem told his brothers. His brothers covered Noah and Shem got into trouble.
God floods the earth because man is too wicked. Noah and his family + two of every kind of creature on the earth take refuge in an ark that God tells Noah to make. God promises that he will never again wipe out all life like He did and that he will never curse the ground because of man even though they are sinful from childhood.
Adam and Eve eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and are banished from Eden.
God creates the day of rest, Adam, and Eve! Adam also gets to name all the animals (none of which were suitable to be his partner.)
