This week we are finishing up the words of Isaiah that Nephi copied onto the plates. “We Rejoice in Christ” 2 Nephi 20–25 The children will come away learning I can find peace in Jesus Christ. Lehi’s children had a problem with contention. The problem got worse in future generations, leading to division, captivity, sorrow, and destruction. And contention continues to be a problem today. The Lord is gathering His people. Nephi and his family were witnesses to the scattering of Israel (see 2 Nephi 25:10). Now you can participate in the gathering of Israel. The worldliness of Babylon will fall. The kingdom of Babylon was a mighty political and military threat to ancient Israel. But to Nephi’s people—and to us today—the bigger threat is what Babylon represents: worldliness and sin. Jesus Christ brings peace and joy.

This is a Book of Mormon Study Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids! It’s a primary podcast for LDS aka Mormon kids aka Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What are we studying this week? “Armed with Righteousness and with the Power of God”1 Nephi 11–15 This week the children will learn how Nephi went to the Lord himself to find out if his father’s words were true. Nephi strengthens his brothers as well. From the Come Follow Me Manual: God has monumental work for His prophet to do, He often gives that prophet a monumental vision. Moses, John, Lehi, and Joseph Smith all had visions like that—visions that expanded their minds and helped them see just how grand and awe-inspiring God’s work really is.Nephi also had one of these life-changing visions. He saw the ministry of the Savior, the future of Lehi’s posterity in the promised land, and the latter-day destiny of God’s work. After this vision, Nephi was better prepared for the work that lay ahead. And reading about this vision can help prepare you too—for God also has work for you to do in His kingdom. You are among “the saints of the church of the Lamb” seen by Nephi, “who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory” (1 Nephi 14:14). So many great scriptures this week. And I said unto them that it was the word of God; and whoso would hearken unto the word of God, and would hold fast unto it, they would never perish; neither could the temptations and the fiery darts of the adversary overpower them unto blindness, to lead them away to destruction.25 Wherefore, I, Nephi, did exhort them to give heed unto the word of the Lord; yea, I did exhort them with all the energies of my soul, and with all the faculty which I possessed, that they would give heed to the word of God and remember to keep his commandments always in all things. We exort you to also give heed unto the word of the Lord. We promise that as you keep the commandments, as nephi promises, the temptations and fiery darts of the adversary won’t be able to hurt you.
This week we are studying “Come and Partake of the Fruit” 1 Nephi 6–10. Welcome to the Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids! We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we create this podcast for primary aged children (2-12) following along with the church’s Come Follow Me Manual. This is a Book of Mormon Come Follow Me Study podcast for children. If your children would like to be guests on our podcast email us at comefollowmekidspodcast@gmail.com and we will send you an assignment for a future week. Children will learn all about how Ishmael and his family agreed to go into the wilderness and join Lehi’s family on their journey to the promised land. Well sadly, a few days into their journey, Laman and Lemuel, and two of the daughters of Ishmael, and the two sons of Ishmael and their families, decided they didn’t want to go into the wilderness anymore. It says they started to rebel against Nephi, and Sam, and Ishmael, and his wife, and his three other daughters. f Nephi can immediately forgive his brothers for wanting to leave him in the wilderness to be eaten by wild beasts, we should be able to immediately forgive our siblings when they do something that hurts us. Let’s be like Nephi because he’s awesome! Remember will be blessed when we “frankly forgive” each other. We also learn all about Lehi’s vision of the tree of life. How the rod of iron represents the word of god. How the tree of life represents Gods love for us. How the mist of darkness represent temptation. And how the great and spacious building represents the pride of the world. Holding fast to the word of God leads me to Him and helps me feel His love. Your children might enjoy drawing a picture of Lehi’s vision as you read 1 Nephi 8 together. Let them share their pictures, and help them discover what the symbols in the dream represent (see 1 Nephi 11:21–22; 12:16–18; 15:23–33, 36 and this week’s activity page). Ask them to share as many answers as they can to this question: What do we learn from Lehi’s vision?
This is a come follow me podcast for kids. You’ve found a primary podcast for the lds church. Welcome to the Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids! We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we create this podcast for primary aged children (2-12) following along with the church’s Come Follow Me Manual. This year we are studying the Book of Mormon. This weeks reading is: I Will Go And Do : 1 Nephi 1–5 The Book of Mormon begins with an account of a real family experiencing real struggles. It happened in 600 BC, but there are things about this account that might seem familiar to families today. This family was living in a world of wickedness, but the Lord promised them that if they would follow Him, He would lead them to safety. Along the way they had good moments and bad moments, great blessings and miracles, but they also had arguments and contention. Rarely in scripture is there such a detailed account of a family trying to live the gospel: parents struggling to inspire faith in their family and worrying about their safety, children deciding if they will believe their parents, and brothers dealing with jealousy and contention—and sometimes forgiving each other. Overall, there is power in this imperfect family’s examples of faith. In this podcast you will hear dramatized Book of Mormon audio that will teach children: The word of God is “of great worth” to me. I can gain and strengthen my testimony as I turn to the Lord. Nephi is known for his powerful faith in the Lord, but he had to work to gain his testimony—just as we all do. God will prepare a way for me to do His will. When the Lord commanded Lehi’s sons to obtain the plates of brass, He did not give specific instructions on how to do it. This is often true of direction we receive from God. If your children would like to be guests on our podcast, please email us at comefollowmekidspodcast@gmail.com and we will send you an assignment for a future week.
Welcome to our first week studying the Book of Mormon together! This week we are studying the Introductory Pages of the Book of Mormon. What a fun week of scripture. Its introductory pages describe a backstory unlike any other—including visits from angels, an ancient record buried for centuries in a hillside, and a young man translating the record by the power of God. Welcome to Come Follow Me Kids! If you are joining us for the first time as we begin to study the Book of Mormon - welcome! And if you have been with us all along as we’ve studied the Doctrine & Covenants, the Old Testament and The New Testament - welcome back! We are soooo excited to study the Book of Mormon this year. Joseph Smith called the Book of Mormon the keystone to our religion! This is a podcast for primary aged kids who attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This week the children will learn: Studying the Book of Mormon can strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ. We will study the title page, the introduction, Joseph Smiths testimony, and the testimony of the 11 witnesses. We will also learn how Joseph obtained the plates. And most importantly we will learn how we can gain our own testimonies of the Book of Mormon and also how we can be witnesses for it as well.
This is a podcast episode that explains the book of revelation to kids. This week we are specifically studying Revelation chapters 15-22 and John’s vision of the last days, Armageddon, and the second coming of Jesus Christ. Children will learn I can praise God by singing. The Saints John described in Revelation 15:2–4 sang praises to God for His goodness. They will also learn “I can prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ by choosing the right.” The Second Coming will be a joyful event for us if we follow Jesus’s commandments. Heavenly Father wants me to live with Him in the celestial kingdom. In the last two chapters of Revelation, John used beautiful language to describe the celestial glory that the faithful will enjoy. The Book of Revelation for kids! This week we are reading Revelation 6-14. “They Overcame … by the Blood of the Lamb” Listeners will come away learning: Jesus Christ helps me become clean. John saw many people dressed in robes “made … white in the blood of the Lamb” I showed faith in Jesus Christ in the premortal life. In the War in Heaven, God’s faithful children overcame Satan by “the word of their testimony” and by showing faith in Jesus Christ (Revelation 12:11). They continue to do so today. And The gospel can help me overcome temptation. Imagine a woman “travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.” Now imagine “a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns” hovering over the woman, poised to “devour her child as soon as it was born” (Revelation 12:2–4). To understand these verses of John’s revelation, remember that these images represent the Church and kingdom of God and the peril they would face. For the Saints who experienced intense persecution in John’s day, victory over evil may not have seemed likely. This victory can also be hard to foresee in a day like ours, when the adversary is at “war with the saints” and has “power … over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7). But the end of John’s revelation gloriously shows that good will prevail over evil. Babylon will fall. And the Saints will come “out of great tribulation” with robes of white—not because their robes were never stained but because the Saints will “have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14). Then they will learn that “Faith without works is dead.” They will see the connection between what they believe and what they do. They will learn to be doers of the word and not hearers only. And finally they will learn I can choose to speak with kindness. The words we say to each other may seem unimportant, but as James testified, they can have a powerful influence, for good or bad. Thanks for listening to our primary podcast!

This week we are studying Hebrews 7–13“An High Priest of Good Things to Come” Hebrews 7:1–6 can provide an opportunity to introduce to the children the blessings of the priesthood. We will also learn cannot see. Even though we can’t see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, we can develop faith in Them and Their promises, following the examples of faithful people described in Hebrews 11. And finally we will touch on the fact that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will help us and never leave us.
Each of us has to give up something in order to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ—bad habits, incorrect beliefs, unwholesome associations, or something else. For Gentiles in the early Christian Church, conversion often meant abandoning false gods. For the Hebrews (or Jews), conversion proved to be, if not more difficult, a little more complicated. After all, their cherished beliefs and traditions were rooted in the worship of the true God and the teachings of His prophets, extending back thousands of years. Yet the Apostles taught that the law of Moses had been fulfilled in Jesus Christ and that a higher law was now the standard for believers. Would accepting Christianity mean that the Hebrews must give up their earlier beliefs and history? The Epistle to the Hebrews sought to help settle such questions by teaching that the law of Moses, the prophets, and the ordinances are all important, but Jesus Christ is greater (see Hebrews 1:1–4; 3:1–6; 7:23–28). In fact, all these things point to and testify of Christ as the Son of God and the promised Messiah the Jews had been waiting for.Conversion, in those early days and today, means making Jesus Christ the center of our worship and our lives. It means holding fast to truth and letting go of that which distracts us from Him, for He is the “author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him” This week the children will learn learn more about Jesus Christ and strengthen their relationship with Him. They will also learn Heavenly Father wants us to “harden not [our] hearts.” Hebrews 3 describes the Israelites hardening their hearts and rejecting the Lord’s blessings. This can be a warning to all of us not to harden our hearts. If you are new here, welcome to this Come Follow Me Podcast for children! Welcome to the Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids! Paul encouraged the Saints to rejoice—even though they faced difficult trials and Paul himself was in prison. They will also learn : My faith should be “rooted” in Jesus Christ. If the children build their lives and their faith on the Savior, they will be able to withstand the storms of life. If I have faith in Jesus Christ, I can be happy even during hard times. This week we are studying Paul’s Epistles to the Romans. Romans 1-6 “The Power of God unto Salvation” Roman Church members, who were a diverse group of Jews and Gentiles, the Church of Jesus Christ had grown far beyond a small band of believers from Galilee. About 20 years after the Savior’s Resurrection, there were congregations of Christians almost everywhere the Apostles could reasonably travel—including Rome, the capital of a powerful empire. Still, compared to the vastness of the Roman empire, the Church was small and often the object of persecution. In such conditions, some might feel “ashamed of the gospel of Christ”—but, of course, not Paul. He knew and testified that true power, “the power of God unto salvation,” is found in the gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16). This podcast is for children studying the New Testament. This week the children will come away knowing: I can show my faith in Jesus Christ by following Him. Paul taught that the gospel has the power to bring salvation to everyone who lives by faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ is the first principle of the gospel. It motivates us to obey the commandments. They will also learn: We all need Jesus Christ in order to be forgiven of our sins. Paul wanted the Romans to understand that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and His grace. And finally the children will learn: Being baptized is like becoming a new person. Paul taught that baptism symbolizes the death and Resurrection of Christ. It also symbolizes being raised up to “walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4). We renew our commitment to walk in newness of life every time we partake of the sacrament. This podcast is called Come Follow Me Kids! We are a Come Follow Me Podcast for children and kids! This week we are studying Acts 16-21 “The Lord Had Called Us for to Preach the Gospel”. We read how Paul is directed in a vision to preach in Macedonia—he heals a slave girl—He and Silas are imprisoned, and they convert the jailor—They admonish all to believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved. Paul, in Athens, preaches from Mars’ Hill about the unknown god—He says, We are the offspring of God. Paul confers the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. This week the children will come away knowing: Missionaries teach people about Jesus. I can be a missionary now. I am a child of God. These verses can help your family have a discussion about the importance of being baptized and confirmed.
Heavenly Father loves all His children. A fundamental truth that even young children can understand is that everyone is a child of God and that He loves all of His children. In Peter’s time some people believed that the blessings of the gospel were not for everyone. But Peter learned that God loves all of His children and He wants all of them to learn the gospel. This week Children will learn: I am a Christian because I believe in and follow Jesus Christ. The restoration of the gospel needs to be shared with all of Gods children. Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. The account of the angel freeing Peter from prison teaches powerfully that Heavenly Father answers prayers. “God is no respecter of persons.” The children you teach need to understand that Heavenly Father loves all His children, no matter what they look like, where they are from, or what choices they make. Jesus is an example of how we should treat our mothers. Being baptized and confirmed is like being born again. Joseph of Egypt from the Old Testament is our subject for this week. Help kids learn the stories of the Bible! Podcast for primary aged children of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids. Contact us at comefollowmekidspodcast@gmail.com These are the truths we are covering this week: If I am faithful, God will help me during difficult times. Even though Joseph had many difficult trials, he remained faithful and “the Lord was with him” (Genesis 39:3). His experiences can help the children feel confident that God will help them during trials. I can be happy when good things happen to others. Jealousy led Joseph’s brothers to make terrible choices. Their wrong choices hurt Joseph and broke their father’s heart. This story can help the children choose to be happy when others are blessed by the Lord. With the Lord’s help, I can flee temptation. As the children you teach face temptations throughout their lives, they can gain strength from Joseph’s example of fleeing temptation. God can warn me of danger. God helped Joseph understand that Pharaoh’s dreams were a warning to prepare for hard times coming in the future. God can warn us of danger, including spiritual danger.
