In this initial episode I talked with the local ham radio operator where I describe how I continue to enjoy the hobby. And the next segment I have the episode I talk with a cane travel instructor about how he works with deaf blind students. And I wrap up this episode, with an interview with a deaf blind professional braille proofreader, she talks about how she got into her present employment and discusses how others can possibly find employment in this field.
I talked with the first Vice President of the NFB of California as she explains accommodations of deaf blind persons at their upcoming state convention. We discuss how deaf blind people should be helped out in general. I talked with Curtis Chung about computer literacy as in reading what is on the computer screen if you are deaf blind or losing your hearing.
In this episode, I talk to a multiply disabled Deafblind person who was just elected to our NFB Deafblind board as secretary, and I interview a travel instructor who is part of the Helen Keller Center to get their perspective on Deafblind travel and what the public should know.
