Earlier this year I applied for The Wheeler Centre : Signal Boost 2021, although I was unsuccessful I wanted to share my submission as it was a bit of fun to put together.
THE BRIEF:
"We’re asking applicants to create a short piece of audio in response to the theme ‘SPACE’. We want to hear your takes on the spaces we live in, the galaxies we’re yet to explore, or the places that make you feel safe. You might want to explore an expansive space, a claustrophobic space, or somewhere in between.
For your audio response: in less than three minutes, we want you to demonstrate how you would approach the theme and turn it into something captivating and listenable. Think of it like an audio teaser or trailer for a movie that doesn’t (yet) exist, or a pitch to a studio."

I tried my hand at some Entertainment News reporting - how'd you think I went?
This week I’m sharing work submitted as part of an Australian Film Television and Radio School assessment. We had to create a Music Feature, News Feature, and a Five Minute podcast episode. I chose to create all my content pieces focusing on the LGBT+ community.
Finally got around to creating the pilot episode for Cockatoo Rugby - the podcast where I speak with people involved with their local Gay and Inclusive Rugby Team. Of course, I had to start with The Melbourne Chargers, I spoke with one of their coaches - IGR Bingham Cup winning coach - Mitch Canning.
