Let's start this mini-journey together and fight our battles together! Cheers!

Consistency is great. We can all be more consistent with what we do. But what happens when our efforts at establishing a daily practice fail? Listen in as I talk about how to infuse the elements of randomness, play and joy into our lives and onto our wellness practices to add quality to our experiences and still produce results. It's ok not to be perfect. Not to do it every day. What matters is the quality of the experience.
We're channeling a particular mental theme at any given point in time. Some of these are great and we probably want to stay with them more. Does it call for transcendence?
We all have challenges. But we're always ascribing our own definitions to our challenges. We're ascribing definitions to our challenges with respect to other people's challenges. In this inter-connected world, other people's lives seem just as significant as ours. But sometimes we need to realize that our assignments are singular to us, and look at what we can do with what's on our plate instead. Join me on this stream-of-consciousness podcast to delve deeper into this topic of life's assignments and how we perceive them through the lens of relativity.
Although we would rather go on holiday more often or take a break straight out of our crazy, busy days, it's not always feasible to do so. A busy life does not have to be a cursed life. Listen to this episode where I talk about how you can take out these precious pockets of time in your day to engage in what is truly meaningful to you. It's never really about the quantity of the experience as much as it is about the quality of the experience. It's more important to focus on qualitative time than quantitative time. A little pocket may be all that it takes at the end of the day. What is your time pocket like?

We can still attract those which support us and help us thrive. We have the capacity to attract and sustain relationships that add significant meaning and purpose to our life. The past is past. What is it about the past and our continual engagement with it in the now that obstructs our potential for experiencing joy in the current present? Although the past is a treasure trove of experiences to draw from and learn from, dwelling on the negativity that the past once caused blocks our flow and can be highly unproductive for our growth and spiritual unfolding. I hope that by listening to these affirmations, you shift the way you think and feel about the past and become stronger, grounded, and attuned in the present instead of be an imprisoned victim of the past, no matter how hard your story might be to bear or come to terms with. Tough stuff can make us tough. Let's get there one step at a time!

In reality, the experience happens only for a given amount of time. But in our minds, it can happen forever. This is far from healthy. Leaving unpleasant experiences where they happened and not dwelling on them forever is crucial to sustaining our mental health in a challenging, evolving world. On the other hand, we also have the choice to dwell on positive experiences and draw on them to uplift us in the present. What would you rather focus on, right now?

Much of our suffering and discomfort can be alleviated if only we could center in the present and be deeply mindful of our reality. I hope these affirmations will help soothe your perception of reality and enable you to feel more centered, and as a result, more liberated. Here's to savoring the present moment, if at least for a moment!
We live in a world where we're taught we can get everything we want to lay our hands on. Until we realize the befuddling truth that most things, if not all things, have a mind of their own and happen in their own course of time and space. This does cause a lot of distress to that perfectionist go-getter lurking in us, waiting to claim the world all too impatiently. Sometimes all this perfectionist needs to do is take a stroll in the woods and let things cook on their own. Surrender is a beautiful spritual practice. Let's affirm, one affirmation at a time towards deeper surrender!
Faith is the strongest anchor we have in the most difficult of times. Without this anchor, it can be easy to fall apart or feel lost. Often circumstances in our personal lives and in the world can lead us to question our faith. But sometimes faith is the only choice we have, so we might as well deepen it and allow it to enrich our mood, our life experiences, and life itself. Happy listening! Your faith will reward you, no matter what. Trust the process!
Toxic work environments have become the bane of the day. However, even if we are in one, we always have the choice to take responsibility for how we internalise what's going on around us so we don't come back home every day feeling disempowered. We have the choice to be empowered no matter where we're at. We also have the choice to change our current situation. To start with, let's try and change our perspective. Then everything we need will follow in its own perfect timing! I really hope these affirmations will help you today if you've had a rough day at work. Cheers!
Love is a beautiful emotion. It is everywhere and in everything. If you are alive you deserve to love and be loved. I hope these affirmations will create that subtle shift in you that will get you closer to the love you seek. Love is possible. Just believe in your potential for it!
Doing the dishes does not have to be a pain anymore! Play these affirmations while you do the dishes and watch your mindset shift!!
Healing cannot happen overnight. It takes its own time and course. Let us stay patient in the unfolding, while also staying committed to the inner work we are currently engaging with to feel better. It is possible to heal the inner child. It is possible to heal the adult self. Let us stay patient and trust the magic of time!

We all have some trauma or another lodged in our system. Although we are not responsible for most of it, we still need to take ownership of our feelings and experiences. Our inner work is our job, not anybody else's. The pandemic has taken a toll on the way we connect with those around us. But does it have to take a toll on the way we connect with ourselves?

Winters do not always have to be bleak or depressing. Winters are an amazing time for spiritual renewal and personal exploration. Oftentimes winters are hard because we perceive them to be hard. In today's podcast, I walk you through three steps with which you can perceive winters differently and show up for them with more grace, acceptance, and understanding.
To be alive is to be creative. We are always creating, whether we realize it or not. Creativity is not an occasional flamboyant act, or even a product of the inspiration that strikes without announcement. Creativity is in the ordinary as much as it is in our art. How do we attune ourselves to create more fully, and thereby, live more fully? Join me tonight on this thought experiment as I take you through three steps I think are crucial to, well, being more creative with pretty much every aspect of our lives, not just with our art. Because life itself is art.
Stepping away facilitates an opportunity for us to reclaim our personal power. Detachment is a powerful spiritual practice and way of being that helps us reclaim our center regardless of what is going on around us. Detachment brings balance and sets us free. Today, even if for a moment you can remove yourself from that situation, person, or challenge, if not physically, at least in your mind, I believe you will have done yourself a huge favor.
Nobody's perfect. But the truth is, it's all perfect even when it's imperfect. So it doesn't have to be perfect. Allowing ourselves to make mistakes is a way of acknowledging that we are human and honoring the fact that to err is human. Take it easy today and surrender your agenda over and relish in what's going wrong for a change and look for inspiration in the imperfections of the everyday.
We have all been through, or are going through, some measure of trauma in our lives. Although there can be no explanation sometimes for our trials, we can always choose to claim our power in the present moment. The present is powerful, it is liberating. Living for the now will greatly take the sting out of our trials. I hope you can take at least one moment today, no matter how excruciating your pain is, to look to the light and liberate yourself, even if for one second, or one minute. Eventually the seconds become minutes. Minutes, hours. Hours, days. You become someone new.
I've been through some difficult times in my life and I'm finally in a place where I feel liberated and ready to claim my inner power. I want to use stream of consciousness tuning to share with my listeners some food for thought about spirituality, dealing with pain, processing life, and moving forward with grace through it all. I'm only just getting started and figuring the whole thing out so please bear with me! Lots of love, Pooja
