Dad has committed to move from Traverse City,Mi to Portland, Or to babysit his grandkids until Mom finishes her dissertation. What could go wrong wth that?
I have completed my Oregon duties and will drive home. The road I have chosen leads to California, Colorado and other stops. Drive on!
We have new plsns for Baldwin, Lillian and Eleanor. Olivia is moving to new things and the kids are going to an onsite day care. I am going home!
We chatted about what happened during the holiday disruptions in the schedule. Spoiler alert: not much.
We talked about the last several weeks of personal issues and that all that is behind us.
We went for a walk, Our usual, coffee and a croissant and a walk in Alberta Park. Then we got adventurous.

Catching up with Olivia as the children have returned from Baldwin's haouse and will spend the week at Lillian's house.

We wanted tohear from Baldwin's mom on how the Nanny structure was working for their family. We did the interview in spite of a raucous event in the next room
Week 3 come to n end/ Now we have had the Pod for two weeks at Lillian's house and one week at Baldwin's. We check in with Olivia to see how it is going.
We talked with Sara and family on the Monday morning that Lillian goes to Baldwin's house for day care. They have had daycare at Lillian's house the prior week. Also, caught up with the family on the Thursday to see how the week went.
Spoiler alert... so far so good.
Our first week of childcare and babysitting ends. All kids and adults survived. A chat around the kitchen table.
Olivia, our nanny, and Baldwin the other 3 year old, arrive for the firt day of child care while Sara and i go off to climb mountains.
