You don’t need to be perfect. Jesus died so you can go to heaven. We’ve been told this over and over, but sometimes it doesn’t sink in and we try to be perfect anyways. We should do our best because we love God, not because we feel we need to earn God’s love.

Time feels unlimited—until it’s not. In this message, we look at Jesus’ parable in Matthew 25 and the reality that what we’ve been given—our time, abilities, and influence—actually matters more than we think. Life can change in an instant, and none of us know how many days we have left. But instead of creating fear, that truth is meant to wake us up to live with purpose, urgency, and love. The idea of “You cannot give what you don’t have” is To understand the value of your heart and know the depth of The Love of God through out and beyond time. to know the Depth of the Love of God, We must first know, or at least try to, understand The Grandness of His Being and the Fullness of His heart that was shown through out the Bible, especially through Christ that was meant for us to just accept. Meanwhile, The enemy knows the value of the heart, as shown whom was targeted in the garden of Eden, and is the same target throughout time. By this, The importance of the Heart is established and the Depth of the Love of God shown through Christ is introduced deeply through the awe and grandness of His Being and Heart.

Attraction and desire are God-designed, but unchecked desire can lead to a world of issues. The problem isn’t being attracted to someone, rather problems arise when our attraction matters more to us than the Word of God. Wisdom isn’t denying feelings—it’s directing them in the way of the Scriptures.

This message challenges students to rethink dating through the lens of identity and worth. It explores how searching for validation in relationships can lead to unhealthy choices, while reminding students that their true worth is already given by God. Titus is to teach the people of Crete how their (and our) lives should look so that instead of denying God by our deeds, our deeds point others to God who gave His son to save us from our sin. We are not “being good” to earn our salvation like some were teaching in Crete. Jesus redeemed us from our sin and our response is to honor our savior by how we live. We are to be zealous for good deeds so that our lives might point others to Jesus. It's All About Jesus!

We all have parts of our lives we’d rather keep hidden — habits, thoughts, or past choices that carry shame. In John 4, Jesus meets a woman hiding behind her secrets and invites her into freedom instead of condemnation. He doesn’t expose her to embarrass her; He brings truth to heal her. When we bring our hidden struggles into His light, we don’t find rejection — we find redemption.

This sermon invites us to reflect on what it truly means to understand and surrender to God’s will for our lives. As we finish off the book of James, he leaves us with an encouraging, yet difficult reminder: To stand firm in our faith and hold fast to the truth in patience, or as many commonly call it, long suffering. James reminds us that the coming of the Lord Jesus is near, but in the meantime, we need to hold each other up in prayer and faith, not divide, but unite in one mind and one spirit! James instructs us to pray for one another, confess and if anyone goes astray, bring each other back to the place of fellowship with one another under our God. James also instructs us to act as Christ's images, telling us to bear one another up and not to swear, but to give a simple yes, or no. This Wednesday, we will dive into what James is telling the church, not only the ancient church, but our church today, and how we can, not only learn these truth, but apply it daily.

Trusting God goes beyond feelings and is shown through obedience to His word, even when it challenges our own understanding or emotions. God wants us to be at Peace, and has offered us a way to find Peace with His presence. However, Satan counterfeits the Peace of God & instead wants people to be anxious and filled with worry. How does Satan accomplish this? By slowly and carefully distracting God's people from the Lord and instead pointing our attention toward all kinds of other things. Tonight we'll unpack the story of Mary and see how of all people, she had reason to stress and worry....but because her attention was on the Lord (and not her situation!), she finds peace in the midst of the storm.

When God's people choose to let the light of Christ be seen in them, darkness disappears. Just like in real life...when a light turns on, there is no longer darkness. The call of the Christian journey isn't IF we are called to shine our light for Christ, but rather discovering HOW we are called to shine our light.

Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Godhead, and is also called the Helper, Counselor, the Spirit of Truth, The Spirit of Jesus Christ, etc. This sermon will be focused upon who the Spirit is, His effect on the born again believer, pointing toward Jesus' work on the cross.

When we are loving others, we are showing them that we care. It can be easy to fall into the thought process that we are unloved and unwanted, that's what the enemy wants us to think. But Jesus Died on the cross for us, he committed the ultimate sacrifice to show us HOW MUCH he loves us. If we didn't "matter" He wouldn't have died for our sins. When we take time to remember what Jesus did for us, we are able to overcome those false thoughts that we aren't enough. Loving others helps them do the same.

This week, we're talking about the connection between love and forgiveness. For some, even seeing God as love may be challenging because of their circumstances or past experiences. Many times we shut down when the storms and trials of life come upon us. We begin to sink in the waves of worry and doubt. Yet Christ always comes to take our hands and pull us out of worry, of anxiety and is ready to renew us. Many times we must wait for the Lord, and in waiting for His response, we should always seek to have faith, even so the size of a mustard seed.
The Lord is close to the broken-hearted, as the scriptures say, and is listening to the cry of His children.

The disciples wanted to know who was going to be the greatest among them. They wanted honor, fame, glory, and to sit next to Jesus in heaven. Jesus turned everything upside down and told them that whoever wants to be great should be the greatest servant among them.

John the Baptist spent his ministry in preaching the truth. He spoke on tough things while keeping it simple. This simple message that he regularly spoke was an act of repentance. Knowing and understanding true repentance is essential in our walk with Christ.

In today's world, there are so many things that might add stress to our lives. This could be relationships, family, school, or even our faith. This stress can have a major impact on our daily lives and prevent us from living a life characterized by God's peace. The truth is, God loves us so much that He has given us a way to handle stress, by casting all of our cares onto Him, because He cares for us!

The trap of comparing ourselves to others steals our joy and peace. But God doesn't compare us to others. He sees us through the lens of His perfect love. There's nothing we could ever do to lessen our value to Him.

50% of high school students are exposed to a sexual experience before they turn 18 years old. Society has often defined the meaning of sex to our students. Growing up we were often told by the church and our parents to "Not have sex before marriage!" without an explanation. Students are always asking "Why?". With growing fame comes growing opposition. As Jesus teaches to the crowds, the religious leaders begin to make efforts to undermine His ministry. Seeing that trouble is brewing, Jesus’ family makes an effort to bring Him back home to protect Him. This text reveals that following Jesus and being a part of what He is doing in the world will always bring people who oppose us, as well as people who want to call us back to safety. As Jesus' ministry grows, people are coming from hundreds of miles away to hear Him teach, see His miracles, and be healed - the crowd grows daily! After ministering to the crowd, Jesus calls a small circle of followers to go up a mountain with Him, and there reveals that He will allow them to teach, heal, and be a part of what He's doing in the world. The crowd just wanted to selfishly watch the miracles and hear the teaching...while the called get invited to actually be a part of it. This weeks' message forces us each to check our hearts and ask: "Do I want to be a part of the Crowd? Or the Called?"

Jesus came to bear witness to the Truth and calls us to belief/faith. Jesus was crucified between 2 convicted criminals. One mocked and insulted him. The other recognized the truth of his own guilt and called out for forgiveness. Jesus is the Truth and the dividing line for all eternity!

Jesus was in the season of His ministry where He was still keeping things under wraps…He didn’t want the Roman Government cracking down on His followers or the religious leaders causing a scene. In this season, when He healed, He usually told people to not tell anyone. However, many people (including this leper) couldn’t keep their healing a secret and went and told everyone! Jesus, being God, KNEW that this leper would not keep Jesus’ command to keep things quiet…but Jesus healed him anyway. It’s a striking reminder that what moves Jesus to healing the hurt and saving the lost isn’t their obedience to Him but rather His compassion on them. “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”. Today, our students need to be reminded that though the Bible stresses the importance of obedience, we are saved through Grace alone by faith alone, and not as a result of what we do or don’t do.

Have you ever felt like there’s a battle within? We want to do the right things, but we often don’t. We don’t want to sin, but we often do. Sometimes, life can feel like an old cartoon where there’s an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, each telling us what we should do! Though it’s funny imagery, it’s a great depiction of what it feels like to be caught up in the ancient battle between God & the enemy. Though not explicitly stated in scripture, there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that with the exception of Peter, Jesus' disciples were teenagers. Jesus trusted teenagers to change the world back then, and we believe He is still calling them to change it now. You can follow Jesus in any culture, but know that persecution will also be there. Be like Daniel and his friends and decide to be obedient to God rather than conform to this culture. The consequences of following Jesus may be difficult, but if you trust Him, then He will always be faithful!

For years, the Israelites called out to God to deliver them from Pharaoh. It became easy as time passed to become apathetic and feel defeated. However, we see in the Exodus narrative and in our own lives, even the insurmountable is according to His plan. We are never beyond deliverance.

What if God asked you to build a boat in the middle of the desert...would you do it? What if the boat would take you 75 years to build...would you still do it? Noah was asked to do something that seemed ridiculous at the time, but his obedience saved his family and preserved humanity. His obedience led to blessing! What ridiculous thing is God asking you to do, and how might obedience lead to blessing in your life?

Luke 15 shares the parable that Jesus was telling about if a shepherd has 100 sheep and one goes missing, He leaves the 99 for the one. Sometimes we might not feel like the one who is lost, but rather like the one being left behind. It can feel as though you're forgotten about after you've been saved and you're left wondering, "Now what?". But Jesus hasn't forgotten about you, or left you. He is continually chasing after you because He is the Good Shepherd.

It can be difficult to accept forgiveness, especially in light of how difficult our pasts can be to overcome. In the story of Paul, we see how God does not need our pasts to fit a mold for His forgiveness to work. His love is all encompassing, and if we ask, we will receive redemption through His grace.

What are you dedicated to? Would you be willing to die for it? What about being willing to live for it? A relationship with a weak foundation will fall apart, but the key isn’t to be “willing to die” for someone. God instead asks us to live for him. Stephen embodied this relational ideal, and on this night we come to better understand it by looking at his trial and death.

Being transparent with others has the power to change your relationships for the better! By looking at the story of Ananias and Sapphira, we can learn why dishonesty about ourselves is destructive. God calls us to transparency in our relationships. If we follow His example, what we are known for will transform alongside us.
Scripture: Acts 5:1-10
We are all known for something. Some things that we are known for we are okay with...other things, not so much. Our actions today will be what we are known for tomorrow. Are your actions today helping you be known for the things you want to be known for? Or are they helping you be known for the things you don't want to be known for?
In Acts 2 we read that the early church was known for a lot of things, but one of the most prevalent things they were known for was their kindness. Tune in to see how being known for kindness changed the world, and how we might be able to do the same.
Jesus wants to heal us, but before that can happen we need to be real about the fact that we're not okay. In Luke 8, a crowd who though they were doing alright surrounds Jesus. In this crowd was one woman who had a pretty embarrassing medical issue & because of it knew she was not okay.
