Dennis Blake
Eddie Mason was a former American 8-year NFL LEGEND. The NFL football linebacker plays in the National Football League for the New York Jets, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Washington Redskins. He played college football at the University of North Carolina. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft.Upon retirement, God gave him the vision of MASE Training, and immediately developed training programs and workouts for numerous clients that are adults and student-athletes. Having a dream is easy, but achieving the goals required to make it a reality is hard. Dennis had a big dream of winning an Olympic medal, and to accomplish it, he set three goals. The journey was rough, and the path was full of obstacles, but the triumph was worth it. Fans often only see the beginning and the end of the journey and miss the sacrifices and hard work made to pursue a dream. It's the middle part, the part where you have to run after your dream around the bend, that requires the most effort and dedication.
The former football player didn't have the proper athletic guidance that he needed to be a better NFL player. Growing up, DR had a wonderful childhood with both parents taking care of him. However, he had no idea what his future held. He chose a company that sparked his interest, leading him down a path less traveled. Unfortunately, he made some poor choices and ended up serving over a decade in jail for committing armed robberies and assault. While in jail, he formed strong bonds with some good friends who helped prepare him for life after lockup. Today, he is happily married and has children and a grandchild. His story is truly inspiring.
