We discussed several farms and projects launching over and near the weekend on Avalanche including Sphere swap, Stormswap, Avax Apes (NFT's), Crypto Yield Focus, and concluding near the beginning of Summit (avaMax). Also took questions/interacted with listeners.
We discuss the metrics following the enormous launch of Frost finance on Avalanche. Fantom recently announced a 370 million token incentive program following the one announced by Avalanche, we compare the two, and Kee dives into his thoughts on the current cycle of NFT hype.
Kee and Patrick discuss a wide variety of subjects regarding Polygon and AVAX as they await the beginning of farming for Frost Farm. This is the longest episode yet, launch of Frost farm happens around the last 30 minutes.
Kee and Patrick do a deep dive on the Avalanche network. Curve and Aave are coming to the Avalanche network. This news was released near the same time that the network announced a $180 million dollar incentive program to drive development and adoption. We discuss structure and fees of the network, differences between other EVM chains, and how to move assets onto the chain. We go over some financial metrics of the network as is now, and make some predictions about it its future. We think this will play out similar to how Polygon/Matic went in Q2 21.
We follow up on our discussion last week after the launch of a couple big name farm launches, and discuss how the broader market influences farm dynamics.

USA Citizens Reach out to your local Senators and (less importantly for right now) congress person to let them know you do not support the current crytpo regulation in the Infrastructure bill. We want them to get rid of it entirely, but at the very least they need to make sure the Wyden/Toomey/Lumis amendment PASSES. The Warner/Portman amendment is not a sufficient fix, do not let them give you that excuse. They don’t need to just vote or make a statement, they need to show leadership and get things accomplished. Let them know it will affect how you vote in the future.
