DNA is made up of monomer nucleotides that form the DNA strands and two strands come together to form the double helix that we all know of.
Also, in the replication process, the double helix separates into two single strand. Using it as a templet, the other half is created, thus half of it is old and half of it is new, marking it as a semiconservative process.
You can conduct an experiment about this as well. So take a glass of water and add ice-cubes to it. Take note of the amount of water, let the ice melt. The ice that was floating above might seem like, it would increase the water level, but it stays the same. Then another way to think about it is if you freeze a glass of water it would expand, not if it melts the about of water remains the same.
Though melting of icebergs does not cause sea levels to rise, it disrupt the ocean circulation system, and causes many side effects.

solid state batteries are a promising new technology in the field of energy storage, and have the potential to revolutionize many industries, from electric cars to renewable energy storage.
Here in this episode, we go over why Earth acted like a giant magnet and the fact that the magnetic poles are not stationary. It is speculated to have been caused by convection currents and the proof for magnetic poles not being stationary is the strips or bands of differently aligned batches of magma in the mid ocean ridges.

What is the Dunning-Kruger effect? It states that when you know little about a subject, you feel really confident because you do not know about how much you do not know. On the other hand, when yo have a finer grasp on a subject, you might be humbled by how much you don't know.
Once you start looking out for this pattern, you should be able to take better decisions for maximizing whatever it is that you are doing.
Hi! Volcanos are really interesting. They have different sorts of lava or pyroclastic materials coming out of them, resulting into different sorts of volcanos. There are different forms of it depending on the geological activity or place that gives birth to it.
And did you know about volcanic winters? Apart from being really cold, they are a cool phenomena to know about!
you should talk about your future-self. to be able to embody the one who you wanna be. it is hard, but I am trying to do it and though the changes seems minuscule, I am sure I will come through.

Heya! I have been trying to get my act together for a lot of time now and this time I want to do things better. Previously I think one of my errors was to have all of the things to distract me and not being able to do much amidst the chaos. But this time I am thinking of eliminating the feeling of being distracted by reseting my dopamine levels. And would most likely be embarking on this journey though out 2023....
I have wanted to do this for a while now. Particularly because this is one of the things that might revolutionize things for this decade. We would see many things change and get improve due to the implementation of nano-technology. As they are made better, I think things will also get accessible to a lot more people, I hope so. Then there is the field of nano-medicine that might be able to help cure diseases with much more precision and efficiency.
Hi! In this audio, I go over static electricity. It basically means an increase or decrease in the number of electrons. for example, it and object has extra electrons, it is going to be negatively charged. if an object has a lack of electrons, it is going to have a positive charge. if you have two objects that are charged differently, they are going to have an exchange of electrons in order to reach an equal distribution of it.
I think a lot of us find it relatable. When we know that something that isn't right is taking place yet we let it slide. But I think we should be able to break this shell for the better, otherwise it imposes a question mark on our values. The reality is, we should ask ourselves, 'what made me act in this way?' I think many lost pieces of us would start to arise.
Hey! it's been a while again. but this time I really did a lot of study on the topic, as they are in my semester as well. three years back, I didn't understand how and where the blood is pumped by the heart and over time it became harder. so this time I took the goal of understanding from the very basics. if you can get the functional part understood, than you would have a easier time incorporating other information. hope this helps. try to visualize things over and over in your head as you listen or read about it later. things would become easier.
Hi! it's kinda been a long time since I wanted to talk about JWST. it's REALLY a great milestone for 2022. it open up the possibilities for us to spectate more and learn more about the events that take place outside of our knowledge. as well the fact that it uses the latest of all technology makes us wonder what the future of telescopes would be like. for all we know, we have time in our hands, to see the unseen beauty of the universe and study it with more details then ever as well as look back at the process that allowed us to do so.
Hi! so few days back, I participated in this debate competition and had a lot to say in this regard. I think this allows you to grow and move out of your comfort zone and try out things. sometimes you might really want to do things but your fears kick in. I think that is what I wanted to tackle with this competition. when you go all in, you would be surprised to see how much room you got to grow. so the next time this kind of opportunity pops in front of you and you are afraid, shove the fear aside and say to yourself, "I am here to reap the benefits". it make the struggle worthwhile as you try to do the possible best there.
this farming has been on my mind for a few months now. and rightly so! I came to know about this sometime ago only yet it's mesmerizing me. so basically, in this system, we move away from our current farming situations and create better suited farming practices than the conventional ones.
you can have more food in less space, ensure it for more people and improve the food quality. in the future if things are produced at such a large scale, then we can have food at lesser prize as well. that's why I think we should start thinking about this system now. that will make things move fast and also be better.
This one is quite special to me as I am a massive fan of sci-fi. And one of the core aspects of sci-fi is definitely its architecture. Though they vary greatly from an artist to another artist's perspective. This might take the form of different themes, some might be appealing to the eyes some might be great for the needs of modern communication. There's a lot of types that can be found. But the correct one can only be decided when the time has arrived.

this is a video I watched on YT and this discusses protagonist syndrome in a beautiful way. oh, one thing I forgot to mention in there... sometimes you not only want worse to happen to you but also put up with bad situations or others' liking and attribute it to life's flaws. then obviously there is the flip side of the coin, where you only want good thing to happen to you when you haven't even worked toward it. and if things go otherwise it causes distress to you.
so I guess, we could try to be a bit more objective instead of being subject about things, I think this actually frees up your mental space and in doing so gives you space for the things you'd want to fill it up with.
I read this book kind of in a rush and wasn't able to complete the whole thing, but the much I read offered some insights. outer space has from that time been a mystical place both in the terms of science as well as art.
then there was the fact that a lot of our knowledge has changed about the things we knew the most about, as they had little details that could be scrutinized. but for the vast concepts it's almost about the same, as we know little about it. kind of paradoxical don't you think?
so, I first realized this while coming to know about meanings associated with flowers. the problem arises when someone giving or receiving doesn't know about the symbolism. when you think about it, that is how things are. we are perceiving and being perceived all the time. some out there might just think the wrong thing about you or you might do the same. but the key is to not let the second scenario confuse you. be patient until conformation!

In this episode, I talk about why our planet's inner core is solid. There is a misconception that this layer is liquid but it's not. The mantle isn't quite liquid either. So what's the part that's liquid? It's the outer core. This is the reason we have a magnetic field that protects us.
