In todays episode, I support actor Scarlett Johansen's view that it is not the job of professional actors to be political. As an accredited pro entertainer, it is "not our job" to put forward political views, unless we choose to. Most actors play a role, which is our "art" and what we are hired to do. Yes I agree with Scarlett and tell you why we like to stick to what we are trained to do. As a performer, for me its about connecting with the audience as I am "perfecting the art of being Barbie".
Episode 4 of The Parody Podcast Hosted by Rachel aka 'Barbie' Evans, we look at Career Barbie - and the coolest jobs she has had. With over 200 careers, spanning 6 decades; 2019 was the 60th Anniversary of Barbie, and that year Rachel was in the press again, talking about the human Barbie lifestyle, to celebrate. The fabulous careers which Barbie had and the celebratory dolls issued by Mattel. Part 1, with part 2 to follow. https://anchor.fm/theparodypodcast/message
Episode 3, the subject is about the Mattel 'BLACK WIDOW' Barbie doll ( in the white outfit)which is so exciting as Barbie continues to move with the times, now as a heroine to add to her portfolio of dressing up as iconic Hollywood Movie characters. Movie theatres are now showing "Black Widow" as an epic stand-alone movie in the iconic MCU - Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though Natasha Romanov (played by Scarlett Johansen) has been well-loved, her character died heroically in the last Avengers movie, and we get a close inside eye on her past. In the movie, we see Natasha's past, as she tries to wrestle with her emotions, being an elite-spy trained with trauma-induced mind-control programming by the scary narcissistic General Drekov (Ray Winstone), in his 'Red-Room' for female assassins-in-training, to carry out his will, to kill. I reviewed the Black Widow movie recently for a USA podcast movie reviewer, hosted by The QC Quick Critic. It was fun to film the podcast review and I am so excited as the Human Barbie to share the love of Barbie by Mattel dolls, and especially now in 2021, with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansen) - Natasha Romanov -spy assassin character. The topic fast forwards to July 2021, and we have another ICONIC BLACK WIDOW Barbie doll wearing the white outfit, from the MCU - Marvels Cinematic Universe. Barbie gets to play Black Widow, I wonder what she would say about dressing up in the iconic white outfit ? And what is her favourite outfit? Presidential or Marvel Heroine? Stay tuned as all will be revealed in an upcoming episode soon. What would Barbie say about all the character motivation for each one?

There will be fun and giggles along the way, in each episode we chat with guests who share their secrets to inspire you. This podcast is for you to gain and develop your own character and voice. To be heard loud and clear, to compliment your mirror image, as you navigate though life. Starts on July 12th. Follow Rachel on Instagram @rachel_evans_bikini and YouTube RachelEvansBarbie
