the voice of The Shadow was mr. Orson Welles from 1937 to 1938. Miss Agnes moorehead co-starred in the show and her character's name was Margo Lane. the show first aired on MBS in 1937 until 1952. mr. Orson Welles made a famous saying for the shadow every show The Shadow says"who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of man the shadow knows". and then at the end of the show the voice of The Shadow with say"the weed of crime bears bitter fruit crime does not pay the shadow knows". both sayings where played on the air until 1952. mr. Orson Welles plays a man named Lamont Cranston and no one knows who the shadow is except Ms Margo Lane played by Agnes moorehead. the episode that I am playing today is called the death House rescue and blue coal sponsored the show during the fall and winter months. Mr. Orson Welles had a tremendous career in Hollywood as an actor,writer producer and director. His first movie appearance was in 1941 in citizen Kane and the lady from Shanghai, the magnificent amberson and many others. But he also directed various types of movies such as touch of evil, the magnificent amberson and now 40 years later on Netflix the last movie he directed the other side of the wind. But what a lot of people may not know about mr. Orson Welles is that he also starred in various of old-time radio shows but he also known to play and portray The voice of The Shadow it was an old time radio show where he played as a man named Lamont Cranston and Miss Agnes moorehead played Margo Lane in that show with him as well. Mr. Orson Welles is still known to this day as the greatest filmmaker that ever lived. He passed away on October 10th 1985 at the age of 70. Even though mr. Ms.ball had an amazing career in TV movies and old-time radio shows.ms balls career started in 1938 and she became an actress in a lot of different movies like too many girls with real life husband Desi arnaz, and the movie big secret which miss ball starred as a woman named Gloria with her CoStar mobster boyfriend mr. Henry Fonda. Ms Lucille Ball is most famously known as the queen of comedy and she and her real life husband Desi arnaz starred in many movies and radio shows together they were the producers and owners of the desilu production studios in Hollywood during the early 1950s as they produced the show famously known for Lucy's comedic performances the I Love Lucy show. Miss Ball also made her own show with her co-star from the I Love Lucy show Miss Vivian Vance they both starred in the show The Lucy show it came on in the 1960s. Miss Ball in many roles throughout her career she wasn't always an actress she started out as a fashion model in the late 1920s. But miss Lucille Ball is also a Kennedy honor recipient and has her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Miss Lucille Ball enjoyed having fun on and off the stage as she hosted many parties did many different gatherings with her then-husband Desi arnaz miss ball also has two children Desi arnaz jr. And Lucille arnaz. Miss ball enjoy her retirement until being rushed to the hospital complaining of chest pains from her Beverly hills mansion to the Beverly hills hospital where she had surgery and that day recovered. But unfortunately early the morning of April 26th 1989 miss ball was then rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead she passed away at the age of 77 years old. Miss ball has been gone 31 years but her legacy and her career will live on forever I hope you enjoy Miss Lucille Ball in the radio show my favorite husband with co-star Richard Denning as George Cooper. Ms.Eric was an actress know for her works on the theater stage and during the golden age of radio has a dramatic actress on a variety of shows such as suspense and murder at midnight. She was also a writer and a producer for the old time radio show CBS mystery theater. But before she was an actress she had a variety of jobs for five years actress she worked in the city of New York "She was a switchboard operator, waitress, governess, hostess in a cocktail lounge, publicity writer, model, cook, parlor maid, social secretary to a social secretary, stenographer and book saleswoman." Ms elspeth Eric had an amazing career during the golden age of radio. Until passing away from cancer on June 15 1993 at the age of 83. I hope you guys enjoy it please comment and subscribe thank you.
