Julie Davies, The Woolmark Company’s General Manager for Processing Innovation & Education Extension, has 30 years’ working experience within the textile industry with a vast amount of expertise in circular knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing and textile printing. Consulting with leading international fashion and sports brands, Julie has worked extensively throughout the entire supply chain – from yarn development right through to the end consumer product. 

In her current role, Julie continues to work with supply chain partners to innovate and develop new processes and products whilst also drawing on her in-depth knowledge of the wool industry to develop specialised education programs for students, trade and consumers.

Tsuranori Nomura is the operating officer at Murata Machinery, responsible for Global Market - Textile Machinery Division. Since joining the company in 1989, he has held various positions, mainly in textile machinery sales. In 2014, he was posted to China. During his tenure, he became President of Murata Machinery (Shanghai) and Murata Machinery MFG. (Shanghai). He returned to Japan in 2017, and was appointed General Manager of Sales department, the Textile Machinery Division.
