Let's talk with The Daily Walk! Join us on the podcast every week as hosts Tyce Holmes and Justice Toby address everyday struggles & obstacles and how to overcome them through the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the knowledge that God wants to be for YOU, and not against you!
There are many ways to share the Gospel with the people around us but do we do it all the time? Sometimes we see it as an inconvenience to share the Good News with someone because of possible judgement or ridicule.
Join Tyce Holmes and Justice Toby as we highlight the prominent reasons why believers must share the Gospel boldly and embrace the epitome of love God has shown us through Christ Jesus
Scripture Focus: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: First to the Jew then to the Gentile" - Romans 1:16.
During the span of our lives, we are building some kind of kingdom or legacy. However, before a building in put together, a foundation is first laid. What foundation are you building your life on? Is is stable? Can it stand the storms of life? Walk with Tyce Holmes and Justice Toby as we go through God's word on what a life built in Christ looks like and how you can apply it to your life.
God has a plan for everyone. Most think that the basics of this are: peace, joy, love, a family, mission work, and the list goes on and on. However, one fundamental will of God that many miss out on is this: Repentance. Scripture tells us that Jesus's first words in His ministry at 30 years-old were "Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand." We believe that God's will for every person is to repent (to change your mind about sin and turn from it) and put their faith in Jesus, who is the sacrifice for all sins and living hope of God. Walk with Tyce Holmes and Justice Toby as we discuss this Kingdom principle and how it can be applied to your life!
Humans are prideful at heart, and we each want to serve as the god of our own lives, or worse, other people's gods when our ultimate wage for our sins is death. Performance or our sinful identity won't get us any entitlement to God. The Good News is that Jesus came, served, suffered, died, and rose again for an undeserving people, which is also known as God's redeeming grace. This is how we should live, knowing that God is His grace, mercy, and love, gives and qualifies whom He will, in a broken world where hierarchy is everything.
What areas of life do you feel entitled to? Ex: Blessings, a partner, money, a job, success, belonging, self-image, love, forgiveness.
How do we lay this down at the cross? Ex: Humility, repentance, love/grace/mercy/truth, prayer, God's Word, Holy Spirit. Follow the example of Jesus!
Walk Tyce Holmes and Justice Toby as we walk into the truth of God's Word.
