Episode 4 - Mahatvapurna Prasang

While on one hand there are many people in this country who do not understand how to take out time from their busy schedule to vote.

On the other hand, there are many people living outside the country who do not even think of participating in the country's voting. Perhaps they live in this confusion. Whether they can stay outside and vote in the elections of the country or not? The very simple answer is yes, they can vote.
Under Section 20-A of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, overseas Indians can also cast their vote in the respective assembly constituencies where their name is registered in the voter list.

All they have to do is show their passport as proof of identity.

This story is about the efforts and directions of the Election Commission which were done for the communities or individuals who were considered backward.

For example, if a person is homeless and has been living on the road, footpath or any public place without any roof, for at least three days. So the Election Commission of India recognizes such a person as a normal resident of that place and finds him eligible for voter registration and voting.
Its concept has been established as the ideal of the Election Commission by emphasizing on the electoral participation of all sections of the society, castes, communities, religions, gender etc.

Here the story also tells about the "None of the Above" or NOTA option of the voting machine.

Episode 1 - Parlour Ka Ek Din gives an insight of a common practice in our society not to get girls registered as voters before marriage. This is probably due to the thought of the parents that after marriage the address of the girl will change after going to her in-laws house. 
On the other hand private organizations and companies should be closed on polling day or everyone should be given paid leave to vote. Let's together change everyone's thinking and these traditions.
