What's up, everybody! I'm back after a brief break from the podcast & let me tell y'all, this EP was worth the wait!☆ ☆ ☆Listen in as I sit down with a beloved mentor of mine, Miss Anca, as we discuss how we can practically heal from past trauma. She details her life growing up in communist-ruled Romania, and how her family adjusted to living in freedom after the Romanian Revolution. Her story speaks volumes of her tenacity throughout that season, as well as her experience of accepting Christ, a conversion that was largely frowned upon by her family and close friends. She also speaks of losing her sister to cancer in 2018, which jump started her path to true healing and freedom. We talk about the adoption of her son, her journey of healing from childhood abuse, and much more. Join us as we discuss how we, through counseling and community, can break free from the bondage of the past in order to truly enjoy the present life God has graciously given.☆ ☆ ☆“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17☆ ☆ ☆While trauma may not be our fault, it becomes our responsibility to deal with it. Tune in to hear some practical tips on how we can make living in freedom possible with the help of the Lord and others! In this poignant episode, we pay tribute to the wisdom and insights of a remarkable individual that I'm honored to call my Grandpa. Join us as we delve into a heartfelt conversation with him about his childhood growing up in poverty during the 1950s, the amazing relationships he's developed over the course of his life, and the incredible risks that he's taken along the way. My hope and prayer for everyone listening is that you will discover the joy of living--and loving--well, as my Grandpa exemplified so beautifully through the witness of his life.

From a very young age, my Grandpa made a commitment to do whatever it took to take care of the people he loved. During our conversation at his hospice bedside, we uncover some of the practical ways we can carry that decision into fruition and develop more meaningful relationships with those right around us. It isn't easy, but Grandpa provides us with simple ways we can express our gratitude for others, celebrating their growth and seizing every opportunity to let them know they are cherished. :)

Prepare to be inspired as we explore how a collection of small, deliberate actions can create lasting change in the world. This episode is a reminder to us all to keep our eyes wide open to the opportunities we have to bless others. Never underestimate your ability to impact the world. After all, it's a whole bunch of us doing the little things that will translate into a world forever changed! ☆
