Dan Johnson
Swim across Lake Ontario - check. Lake Erie swim crossing - check. Raise half a million $ to help children with cancer enjoy their time at Camp Trillium - check. Why did she do this? What drove her to help vulnerable sick kids with cancer? She was just a kid herself.
10 years and 2 children later, Annaleise Carr is all grown up. In this episode, she reflects on her UNordinary venture to help others. She is a woman with character worthy of a follow - humility, perspective, and purpose. Be blessed to call her your own, Norfolk County.
Bob is a coach, referee, international Bridge champion, husband, father of three boys, and was my grade 8 teacher. He has left his mark on thousands of young people in Norfolk County over 30 years as an elementary school teacher. His UNordinary commitment to give himself to others, has made our county a great place to call home.
Shane Bergman is an outstanding football player. He racked up 2 Grey Cup Championships and was named CFL All-Star all while playing for the Calgary Stampeders. In this episode, Shane reminisces on his football career and upbringing in Teeterville and Waterford.
Matt Wood, aka "Matt Thehairguy", is so much more than the Port Dover barber making dudes look their best. In addition to establishing the successful Beachfront Barbershop in 2019, he's lead singer of the band Kiln Country, and a part-time cowboy competing in barrel racing and pole bending. Matt makes the Norfolk County community the best place to call home (and get a hair cut).

Chris moved to Norfolk County a few years ago and got plugged into the running community in Port Dover. He's now an accomplished endurance runner, having qualified and successfully run the Boston marathon multiple times and completing a 100 mile race in September 2022.
