Microcredentials are quickly becoming a way for students to obtain credit for short, skill- or competency-based courses. Whether taken through a college, university of other accredited institution, microcredentials are ways for students to prove a certain level of competency to potential employers and for employers to better verify the skills and competencies that they are seeking from potential and current employees.
