They tear me up. Every time.
Its easy to SAY 'top forty star songs', but thinking about it, there are tons of categories and considerations involved!
Not rock stars, pop stars, we're talking about the stars in the sky, as real things, as poetic things, as romantic things, as HUMANIZED things! Stars that we heap expectations on!
At the podcast called 'Home Planetarium Association' (https://homeplanetariumassociation.podbean.com/) and at the podcast called 'Up There - The Home Planetarium Association' (https://upthere.buzzsprout.com/), the narrator is burnt out and busy, the Muses are split, and now the former DJ digital voice dudes need new jobs. since the station cant play music any more) The Muses converted to reading dirty little poems on the air and the ratings went through the roof. Now the digital ex-dj's must come up with something new.
Emotions run both ways - and dark emotions can be caused by direct info given in a planetarium, and we can imagine how the stars themselves, if humanized, must feel.
and Sprinkle a little Science in an otherwise totally romantic and emotional star show!
Astronomy Books used to begin chapters with a bit of romance, a bit of those poems (they didn't end with Nantucket though) - why not do that in a home planetarium show to mix in a little romance with all that science huh.
While Science may be made of indisputable fact and logic, not so with emotion. It can swing both ways.
Particularly if its used in a home planetarium strategically rather than just blanketing the entire proceedings!
