Welcome to the first episode of A Long Way Around - a podcast devoted to exploring in depth the epic poetic adventures of the past. We'll be starting with one of the biggest: Paradise Lost. We'll be reading through the entire first book of this incredibly ambitious poem together, pausing at intervals to discuss Milton's technique, references, and relevant context.
