it’s surreal to acknowledge that when we travel abroad, we are welcome into others' homes, and how that slowly transforms into our homes. can we call where we were born, a home? or the place where we were brought up a home? or the people who introduced us to new realms, beyond our imaginations? in this realm, we call each experience, traveled to, met with, and stalled on — a space at home. my home, can also be your home, which equals to, our home.

inspired by the series, sweet kaaram coffee, here’s a realm where we go on a road trip. call your homies, paint a car with some wilderness, and drive to places that spontaneously move us. when we get back, we’ll have so many stories to tell, and lives of people we could get closer to, glimpses turning into cavernous portals of connections. with back-to-back 30 minutes of non-stop music.

āranyā means forest in sanskrit. they’re the epitome of our living, they help purify the air we breathe, purify the sins with the waters and dance under the rain with prosperity showering over us. they help us see life with color in our vision, remove that black and white lens and observe the world, drinking up all the possibilities life has to offer in the form of waterfalls, birds chirping and perhaps staying in a cottage that breathes a new sense of perspective.

in this intermissional realm, hoping that intermissional is a word (spoiler alert, unfortunately, it’s not) we’re going to just bask in the ambiance of what’s in front of us. not what and who strolled away, not what or who will come for us soon, no matter how close it is. for some of us, our a-levels exam results are coming very soon. for some of us, we’re moving on from the people we used to be, and entering a realm of ourselves we want to start being. but no, I’m not going to place us in that tough spot. we’re in this realm to do nothing but guess what? groove.

when the elevator doors open, the heart is halved. when the elevator doors close, the heart becomes whole. everyone who goes up and down the building on this elevator, sees the key-carved heart, with the initials N and P on either door of the elevator. no one knows the story behind this: two people have marked history in the elevator doors.
