It's been a bazillion years since I've posted a podcast! I was inspired by my friend Amanda. She just launched her new podcast - (go listen to it here)!
I wanted to share some updates and thoughts that I've had lately. If you're a person who is evolving and growing in your consciousness - this episode may be helpful for you!

I'm unpacking a lot here.
Releasing my voice. Core Fears. New Beliefs. Healing Chronic Blushing.
Ready for a ride?
Buckle up.
You won't think the same after hearing this episode.
I had the honor of talking with Joel Pimentel about his 50-pound weight-loss journey and his struggle with perfectionism. Many blushers suffer from perfectionism (I know I sure did). Although he's not a blusher, his struggles and mental battles are very similar to those who struggle with erythrophobia.
Joel was able to move through his insecurities and create amazing content, which later led to a video that now has over 300k views and over 5k subscribers to his Youtube channel in just a few short months.
Joel didn't wait until he felt ready, he just moved into action. I hope you find some encouragement from his incredible story and how he was able to lift himself from the pit of perfectionism and into living the life he desired.

I'm disappearing for 90 days.
Well.
Kinda.
Have you ever just wanted to shut out the noise, detach from your phone, and hear your own thoughts again?
Yeah, me too.
That's why I'm going on this 90-day journey.
You'll still find me here and at aprilpoynter.com - but I just want to get back to the basics for a little while.

Our thoughts can overwhelm us when it comes to creating. Fulfillment comes from creating, not the thinking or the researching. Activity doesn't always equal productivity if you're not doing the things that get you to an outcome.
If analysis paralysis is holding you back this episode is definitely for YOU!

Today we're talking about evolving beyond our friendships when someone hasn't necessarily done anything - but we need to move on from the closeness with them so we can grow.
It's been a hot minute since I recorded a podcast. Today's episode is chalked full of updates, deep thoughts, and encouragement for you!
I wanted to give you an update on what 2022 has been like for me and some new thoughts I'm exploring -

Whew. Are you ready for an earful?
Some candid thoughts about relationships, connection, getting shit done and making things happen.
Sharing a bit of insight from trying something new. How this "new" thing challenged my nervous system and my thought process.
Any time you want to make a change, there's gonna be a bit of friction.
I recently quit a project I've been working on for 3 years.
A Youtube channel that I organically grew to 1400 subscribers.
In the past three years, this channel has had 92, 097 views and 6700 hours of watchime.
Who knew that a channel about Erythrophobia (the fear of turning red) and Chronic Blushing & Skin Flushing could gain so much traction?
I was right on the edge of "success" as far as monetizing the channel. You need 1k Subs and 4k watch hours (within 365 days).
I have 1400 subs and 3,935 watch hours.
AND I QUIT.
Why? Well... because my KNOWER knows things that don't always make sense - but I always understand.
If you're seeking help when it comes to red blushing or flushing skin - or other insecurities such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), etc. These free resources are out there for you or someone you know who may be struggling.
I'm proud of the work that's been done, the healing that has occurred and the incredible people I have met from LITERALLY all over the world.
The resources will always be there - even if I'm not.

Everything I think I'm Missing
I am struggling. There's who I
believe I ought to be, and who
I really am. It's humbling, isn't
it? This being, this mystery, this
me sits here radiating energy, yet
I'm gripped by a nameless fear
that I'm missing exactly what
I came to experience.
I am suffering, telling myself
stories of what life should look
like. And then I get the message
like a meteor, like the power
coming back on after hours
in a storm.
This life, this extraordinary
imperfection, this moment
just as it is, this is all I'm
here to receive. The infuriating,
limitless simplicity of day-to-
day living holds everything
I think I'm missing.

I haven't shared this story with many because it's deeply personal. But I'm sharing my white feather story today.
Let's talk about some random things I've been contemplating.
A thought-provoking quote by Viktor Frankl: “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
Seeing Purple and what it means...
And reading my newest piece of writing to you - Good Things.

Reframing is a way of changing the way you look at something and, thus, changing your experience of it. - verywellmind.com
How are we seeing the world? Does how we view the world have a direct correlation with what we experience?
Some thoughts for today.
"Your dharma is not a career, or a project, or a certain role you play. It’s the unique vibration that your soul carries to everything that you do and every way that you are." —Sahara Rose, Ayurveda expert
In this episode, I'm openly sharing about my current journey with postpartum depression, the reality regarding suicide, and finding joy inside. I've recently started practicing Yoga and have already made some significant discoveries.
I hope you find some words of encouragement for yourself here.
