Katinka Soetens, Co-organizer and Weaver of The Glastonbury Goddess Conference, interviews the amazing Enfys J. Book!
They are a high priestx (3rd degree) of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel tradition in the mid-Atlantic. They are the author of the Gold COVR award-winning Queer Qabala: Nonbinary, Genderfluid, Omnisexual Mysticism & Magick (Llewellyn, June 2022) and co-author (with Ivo Dominguez, Jr.) of the forthcoming Sagittarius Witch (Llewellyn, 2024).
They have taught many classes on Tarot, Hermetic Qabala, and queering oneâs magical practice, including âThe Genderqueer Tree of Life,â âQabalaâs Queer Connections,â and âQueering Your Magickal Practice,â at conferences and events around the United States and online.
As a nonbinary, bisexual pagan, Enfys employs a queer lens to break down limiting binaries in magickal theory and practice, and advocate for bi-, trans-, non-binary/genderqueer-, queer-, and asexual-visibility and inclusion.
They are also the creator of majorarqueerna.com, a website devoted to queer magickal practice with a focus on Qabala, and host a podcast called â4 Quick Qâs: Book Talk with Enfys,â where they interview pagan authors using questions determined by a roll of the dice.

In 2024 we are entering a new cycle of five years, working with the archetypical manifestations of Goddess as the Weaving Sisters in our lives. In this cycle we will be focussing on a specific aspect of Goddess, inspired by these archetypes, starting with The Goddess of Healing in the Maiden year.
In the 29th Glastonbury Goddess Conference, we are envisioning that we will journey together for a week on an elemental journey with the Goddess of Healing, which is both very personal and universal, primordial and contemporary.
The Goddess of Healing is always renewing and rejuvenating.
She may shape shift in our minds, yet She is a constant; the source as the still point of the flame, the unblinking eye, the consistent forge fire of soulâs mettle.
She informs our reality, and She asks to be made manifest in our behaviour and actions.
To this purpose, She invites us to find the treasure of Her healing medicine bundle. Our healing gifts and healing journeys are intimately linked to the Natural world. She therefore calls us into the wild places of ourselves and into the beauty of Her wild lands, to mind the medicine for our soul.
It is Her joy and freedom that beckons us to where the heron guards, to where the owl hunts and to where the beaver builds. We seek to find Her wisdom where the otter plays, where the songbird sings, or where the hare dances, and if we follow Her guidance and loose our inhibitions, we will come to where the deer ruts, where the salmon leaps, or to where the badger roots, and find Her magic there.
We invite you to join us in our exploration and celebration of the Maiden as Goddess of Healing, and through this, bring more of Her healing out into the World.

She is the head of the Temple of Alba among other things and we spoke about the path of the bones, of shadow work and the treasures we find at the core, where we are all the same. We spoke of the liminal spaces, the place of the crossroads and of the difficulty, but importance and MAGIC of surrender.Â

Meet Angie Twydall, a therapist, yoga teacher and Priestess with over 20 years of healing experience.
